    Got this on Black Friday. Amazing deals. Super fun and the graphics are excellent. Played for hours as soon as it was installed. Waiting for the weekend. Get this game now.

    Overall it looked really cool. I was totally on board with the mysterious storyline and advertising but once you get playing this metroid-vania clone it doesn't really live up to what you expect it to be. The storyline is mostly cool, at least at the beginning, but the last third of the storyline absolutely makes no sense and is nonsensical. Had lots of potential.

    Axiom Verge is an outstanding retro 2d action platformer that enhances the best ideas from Metroid and then turns everything you thought about that series and turns it upside down! Axiom offers some of the coolest weapons even seen in a 2d game along with an awesome soundtrack and solid controls! This is a MUST own for anyone looking for a great retro inspired game.
