I discovered Babymetal a few years ago. It was an interesting new genre concept created by the Japanese, but oddly works very well. The metal and J-Pop may sound weird, but the songs are catchy and the metal band has some seriously talented guitarists and drummer. I absolutely had to purchase this album!

The perfect fusion of j-pop and heavy metal. Anyone into anime and the harder varieties of rock should check this out.

Babymetal have started a new genre of heavy metal called kawaii metal (meaning cute metal) mixing Japanese pop and various genres of extreme metal, it is fronted by three kids who wear anime esque frilly dresses and do synchronized dancing. By all rights this concept shouldn't work but it does brilliantly, it's as melodic and heavy as anything out there and the singing is great. I highly recommend checking this out.

Their first album is just as amazing as their second one. All the songs are good and catchy especially BabyMetal Death, and Megitsune

With three female teenage singers playing with a speed metal band you would think this album wouldn't work, but it does! Real heavy band paired with great vocals makes for a really good metal album. Give it a try!

I really enjoyed head banging to their music on my way home from work. I enjoyed it so much I had to buy their second album.

Found this band on the web as a hummorous link, but I love the sound, the album sounds great, in fact, the videos distract from the music, I have been finding I enjoy the songs more when audio only.... so much fun.

This is something never done before, Japanese pop fused with various genres of metal and fronted by three girl singers. You're either going to love it or hate it but I think it's awesome!

This group sounds amazing on iTunes and so I ordered the cd from best buy.

BabyMetal might not be for everyone, but it's better than most of the stuff kids are listening to these days.

I really love this band heard them on youtube and listened to a couple more songs and bought the cd love it.

I blindly bought the album it was one sale for $5 and I was quite surprised on how good it actually was.

There's a lot of J-pop out there, and a lot of Metal, but this fusion of the two genres makes for a pretty unique listening experience.

With 2 bonus tracks "Road of Resistance" co-written and featuring Sam Totman and Herman Li of Dragonforce, and their Youtube smash hit "Gimme Chocolate" - Live in London. This is by far the freshest, most creative and without a doubt cutest metal band ever! Having had the pleasure of seeing them live. They are simply amazing! BABYMETAL rocks!!!
