This movie is not what you would expect it to be even from the trailers. From the cover synopsis and trailers you would think this to be an action movie with Jet Li as a co-star and undercover police investigations. But this movie cannot be taken seriously if you want to enjoy it, it is more of a parody along the lines of Kung Fu Hustle and Stephen Chow movies than an actual serious action movie. The few action scenes that do exist are pretty good thought and choreographed well. But there seems too few of them and some scenes are just so random that they don't make much sense. Again not a completely horrible movie, as long as you don't take it serious or go in expecting the wrong thing.

Being a huge fan of the Asian cinema and of jet li I expected to be amazed. However, Li wasn't in the movie often and it had a bit too much humor mixed into the action. It's watchable to see it once, but I doubt a repeat watching is in the future

I expected something more from Jet Li. I feld asleep watching this movie. I cannot recommend it to someone who looks for entertaiming action. I never found a way to finish viewing it.

I was expecting a more serious movie, but it was more comedy and corny than i expected. If you expect a comedy film then you won't be disappointed though.

Disappointing film overall because of poor plot, and corner acting,. Most action scenes were ok. Female actresses were good to look at.

It's not a strong movie but if you're a Jet Li fan, it's a good movie to own/watch. There's humor and action throughout.

The movie was something to watch but if you are looking for a good movie dont buy just because Jet Li is in it.

Badges of Fury reminded me of a Stephen Chow movie. It was a decent mix of humor and action. It was cute :-)

This movie was just okay with me. so -so. A little disappointed. should have watched the trailers first.

This cop/Buddy/ cliche.. old generation vs new....is so passe.......I'm truly sad for Jet Li.........

I wasn't really use to seeing Jet li in comedy scene, so it wasn't all that great!

I was excited to see another title with Jet Li. But be warned, stay away from this too-silly but not funny movie. Bad acting and plot.

Good action need better story line. Sequel needed to better tell the story.

Similar to Beverly Hills Cop but set in Hong Kong with more martial arts.
