I rented this originally and didn't think I would like it enough to buy, but I was surprisingly impressed by this movie. My favorite part was the amazing, constant 3D pop up effects in the movie. It seems hard to find 3D films with enough or any real pop out at you action, this movie had a lot. The acting was actually good, the cgi could be a little bit fake, still overall special effects were well done. The story line was good, and the action just kept on coming. Has a good amount of gore for the horror fans. My husband, teenage cousin and Dad all enjoyed this movie as well. So, it's good for all ages. Too gory for young children, of course...the R rating is there for a reason. If you're a fan of movies like Jaws and enjoy the pop up 3D effects like me this is a must have for your 3D collection.

Overall a good movie. If you like shark attack or creature features it's a lot of fun. The 3D is shot in 7.1 which fits my entire 60" screen, in a word... Awesome!
