Very user friendly! So easy to put together and set up right out of the box by yourself! This is my 3rd Bambu Lab A1 and I will probably always buy Bambu products!

The Bambu Lab A1 is an absolute game-changer! Setup is incredibly fast and the automatic calibration is flawless. The large build volume and multi-color printing capabilities if you get the add on are fantastic. It produces stunningly high-quality prints right out of the box with impressive speed. A truly premium experience for a great price!

This printer is very easy to set up and use. I really like that Bambu's MakerWorld has multiple accessories for the printer. If this is your only printer I would recommend paying the extra money for the AMS Lite System. For the A1 with the AMS System it is a must to print the top mount and stiffener brackets to save space. Along with this I highly recommend printing the AMS Spool Locks. My only complaint is the x-axis cable can get caught on the bed, however this can be easily solved by downloading and printing any one of the cable solutions on MakerWorld. Lastly, I recommend printing a bin for waste. Overall it has great print quality and is easy for any beginner to use.

This was a HUGE upgrade over my older Ender 3. It is a plug and play 3d printer, very suitable for both beginners and exprienced users. Very impressed.

The Bambu Lab A1 is one of the most beginner-friendly and reliable printers I’ve used in its price range. The setup process is extremely simple—basically plug in, follow the on-screen instructions, and you’re ready to print within minutes. For anyone who doesn’t want to deal with complicated calibration, the A1 handles most of it automatically, including bed leveling, Z-offset adjustment, and vibration compensation. Print quality is excellent right out of the box. The layers are clean, smooth, and consistent even at high speeds. Bambu’s slicer profiles are well-tuned, so you don’t need to spend hours tweaking settings. Speed is also a major highlight; the A1 can print much faster than traditional bed-slingers while still maintaining accuracy. Noise levels are reasonable, and the printer feels solid despite its compact size. The touchscreen is responsive, and the integration with Bambu Studio and the mobile app makes it easy to send prints, monitor progress, and manage materials. If paired with the AMS Lite, multi-color printing becomes accessible and surprisingly reliable. There are a few limitations. The build volume is not large, so it’s not ideal for oversized projects. Also, like other Bambu printers, it works best within the Bambu ecosystem, and some users may prefer more open-source flexibility. Overall, the Bambu Lab A1 is a great choice for beginners and hobbyists who want fast, high-quality prints with minimal setup and maintenance. It offers excellent value, strong performance, and a very user-friendly experience.

The printer works great, within a couple of days I’ve got it set up to print detailed creations. Best Buy curbside pick up arrived on time and with no issues. Before you buy be aware there is time required for assembly and set up. I also recommend a enclosure for the printer as well.

I can honestly say the Bambu Lab A1 has been the easiest and most enjoyable 3D printer I’ve ever used. Setup took less than 15 minutes, and the first print came out perfect without any tinkering. The auto-calibration is a lifesaver — no more fighting with bed leveling or wasted filament. What really blew me away is how fast this thing is. Prints that used to take me all day now finish in just a few hours, and the quality is still amazing. The details are sharp, the surfaces are smooth, and it’s quiet enough to run in the background while I work. The app and software make it super convenient too. I can send prints from my phone, keep track of progress, and even get notifications when it’s done. It feels like Bambu thought of everything to make printing stress-free. I upgraded to the A1 from the A1 mini and I’m now able the print all items on the Bambu site. The printer works flawlessly and is very simple to use. Best Buy made the buying experience very easy. Very satisfied.
