She managed to keep it alive for a very long time, but beware--if you leave these things unattended they die pretty quickly. The beeping can get kind of annoying.

Not worth it

Fun, but minor flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a mini version, which doesn't really seem necessary. The original version was small enough. This is also a more simplistic version, which half of the options. You can't play with your tamagotchi or give it medicine. It looks and feels great, and is a fun trip down memory lane. I just wish they made it identical to the originals instead of making it smaller and limiting what you can do with it
