Good music for children and adults. Would recommend if you are a fan of her

A great contemporary mix of music and vocal stylings

Some of the songs are really great but others are really inappropriate to have kids listen to.

I miss the old catchy Pop days of Miley. At least there are a few really good slow songs that actually show she has a great voice. The weird beats other than on "We Can't Stop" are just annoying.

It's what you would expect from a pop type artist. There are 3-4 really good songs but a lot of it is noisy nonsense that won't be listened to or remembered in 3-4 years.

I tried to like this album, I really did. I met little Miley (Destiny Hope) when she was a precocious little 5 year old (through Billy Ray). I was delighted when she won the part of Hannah Montana, but was not fooled by the Disney-created 'singer' title they applied to her. When the time came, I supported her need to escape from that 'enslavement' contract and move forward into an independent 'adulthood', and discover her 'true' self. I felt her voice had finally matured into an actual artist, so...all that being said (!), I bought the album, eager to see how 'Miley' had finally grown up. Big mistake! With the exception of the very relatable "Wrecking Ball", and the opining mantra of "We Can't Stop", (an obvious bleating of an emotionally immature individual insisting she is 'grown-up', despite her childish behavior), there is very little on this album with any redeeming qualities. The mixes are noisy. The transitions of the songs are schizophrenic. The styles are all over the place, without any rational transitions. It just isn't a comfortable album to listen to. I have a broad, musical palette, so nothing shocks me, or puts me off, just because it isn't mainstream. This album, however, was like showing up for a potluck buffet and discovering that everyone just brought potato chips. My advice is that you download the single, cry through it, love it, and leave the rest of the album alone!

It's Miley, what's not to like? Ok, she might be a little crazy but her music is so addictive. No one can say they don't like "Wreaking Ball." It's a great song. And I'm a guy. Great album. A must have for a fan or not.
