For the price I paid, this telescope is amazing! 70mm aperture so you won't be able to discern Sirius minor from Sirius Major but you'll be able to see the rings of Saturn & count the moons of Jupiter. All controls are manual so it you do have to be patient and delicate to reduce vibrations and let the scope balance. You do have to learn to aim and focus ahead of your target when using high magnification to give the scope time to dampen the vibrations but since the main lens is only 70mm, your image won't outrun the scope if you understand how to adjust and calibrate it
