This was the first Batman game I've played and it's outstanding. Story and gameplay was great. The map is not that big, but I think it's just perfect. If you're a Batman fan, this is a must-have game. You can play as Joker which I thought was really fun in those challenge maps.

When Batman Arkham Asylum was released and I purchased it years back it was a surprise a truly good super hero game. Now there have been some I've enjoyed over the years like The Death and Return of Superman on the Super Nintendo or The Avengers, X-Men, Spider-Man, etc beat em up games from the arcades and consoles. This was a rarity all the same. It was clear Rocksteady worked hard to make this game with it's well done fighting system that just keeps feeling better with each subsequent game in the series though it maybe becoming more accustomed to it. This one will always hold a special place. If you like Batman at all give any of the three a shot though I do suggest playing them in order they do not disappoint. I realize it isn't likely to have the impact it did back than since they've had time and two more opportunities to improve but give it a shot.

This is a great game, and well worth this discounted price. The combat moves are easy to perform and fun to watch. The content is fairly dark and gritty (although not nearly to the level of Arkham City). I solved all of the Riddler clues and that was very rewarding. It was basically a game within the game and added more gameplay time as you can roam the asylum even after completing the main storyline. I highly recommend it.

By far THE best superhero videogame ever. A very serious non campy realistic videogame. It has a great story, fun challanges and awesome tools at your disposal. I would explain it as a cross between metal gear solid and the first spiderman movie game.

Just got this game and as one that was not familiar with this game when it originally came out, I wasnt sure what to expect. I read the good reviews and hoped for the best. I will say that so far I am pleased, it seems like a fun action game with good story elements. I will say though on medium level at least in the beginning stages, it seems a bit easy, but I havent gotten far into the game so I am not sure whether that level will amp up the further I go into the game. It is definately worth the price at 16.00 bucks though for all the bonus stuff with it, if you are like me and have never bought the original when it first appeared.

This game makes the use of special glasses to view the game in 3D on sets without 3D. No it's not perfect but it definitely gives you a different perspective on an already great game. traded in my previous Batman Arkham Asylum version to get this one. Glad I did.

This is easily one of the best PS3 games available. First, the storytelling is quite stellar and you really do not know what is coming next in almost comic book fashion. Plenty of cliffhanger moments and plot twists, but they are not over done. Second, the visuals and sound are amazing and anyone that has an HDTV and a Sound System will really enjoy the sights and sounds. Finally, the controls are tight and the puzzles are well thought out. There are a few that can be frustrating, but none that will prevent you completing the main story. However, getting every secret is well rewarded with back story and in some cases, new gadgets.

This is a great game for Batman fans. It had awesome graphics and great storyline.

I would give this game 10/10. This game have the action, the storyline, the greatest graphics so far yet in ps3. Excellent! Can't wait for the next installment from this game or the maker.

The graphics are amazing for a game that came out a few years ago and I was quite surprise over the 3d effect. The glasses are a little small but they do work. I'm only about 6 levels into it but others have told me that was a very good game. Overall I would have to say it is the best super hero game I have it was a steal at just 20 dollars even though Batman is not my favorite Super Hero. I can't wait to see what DC has in store for their DC Universe Game. Just understand that it is a dark game but what would you expect from Batman.

I first played this game as a downloadable demo and fell in love with it. The graphics are superb, the addition of an upgrade system makes you feel the development of Batman through the game has some meaning, not just to make the game easy. Easily one of the best games on the PS3 and a must for Batman fans!

Once you figure out how the gameplay works in this game, it will be hard to put down. There's great action and some pretty challenging puzzles to figure out, and some cool characters you will have to defeat.

This is a very dope batman game. The graphics are nice and crisp. Its challenging and gets one thinking. If you're a batman fan, you need to play this game.

An awesome game. Fun gameplay like gliding and using the grapple gun. Great graphics and keeps you hooked once you start.

What can i say, it's a great game, great graphic's, Batman kicks butt!!! Best one we've played so far.....and trust me, with 4 big-time gamer's in our home, they could do game consulting! :)

Batman Arkham Asylum is a great game and serves as the first chapter of Batman returning to the next gen consoles. Filled with challenging gameplay, tons of extras, and villans galore, this game has something for everyone. Check out this game and the sequel before Batman Origins comes out in Winter 2013.

I rented it but I ended buying it because we liked it so much. Cant wait for the NEXT Batman in 2011

The best Batman game I have played. The story is great! Location, Characters and gameplay are very nice. Detective Mode is a very nice ability but I got to dependent on that. Hard mode could be a little more challenging. Gadgets are unlocked during the game adding new possibilities. If you like to get all in-game collectibles, make sure you do it without looking for maps on the internet. The riddles add some fun to the searching!!!

It's a great game. But if you are a customer purchasing online only because you wanted the original clear case with holographic cover than don't waste you're time. IT'S GREATEST HITS......

I bought this game at downy and my first thoughts about this game were great. It has two 3-d glasses which arent plastic but carboard even though they are they work great. If ur looking for a great 3-D action game buy this game!
