This game is a must-buy for Batman fans that own a Wii U. The game features an interesting story as well as plenty of characters from the Batman universe that will tickle any fan's fancy. The main story takes roughly 15-20 hours to complete (if you speed through it) and plenty of end game content to keep the game running in your Wii U for a while. There were some small slowdown spots, particularly while grappling from rooftop to rooftop, but it is barely noticeable. The combat is silky smooth and deep if you're willing to take the time to learn it. Wii U exclusive features is primarily great use of the gamepad. It serves as a HUB for selecting equipment, upgrading your skills, looking at databases, searching for hidden Riddler trophies, hacking into computer systems, intercepting enemy radio signals, so on and so forth. It also displays the map and is quite useful for finding your way around the huge area of Arkham City. A neat feature is that all radio transmissions are heard through the gamepad speakers, which further enhances the experience and makes it feel like you are really in the shoes of the caped crusader. Other features include DLC Challenge Packs that allow you to take control of Batman, Catwoman, Robin or Nightwing and fight waves of enemies for high scores. Also, the game has the "Harley Quinn's Revenge" DLC campaign, which is set some time after Arkham City and puts you in the shoes of Robin, in search of Batman, who went missing searching for Harley Quinn. I have not played this mode yet so I cannot share any experience from it. WARNING: one thing to note about the HQR campaign is that there is a glitch that was discovered in the other versions that is also present here in this version that will render the HQR campaign unplayable. I HIGHLY recommend you find a guide that allows you to 100% the HQR campaign on your first run. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! One last thing: if you have played Arkham City on the other consoles, I wouldn't recommend buying this game. The Wii U exclusive features aren't as appealing for a second buy. BUT with that said, if you have never dove into the Arkham series, Armored Edition on Wii U is great to get your feet wet without the need of playing previous installments.

I'm a huge Batman fan, so buying this game at such a low price was a no-brainer. While the controls are difficult to handle, particularly when trying to get my bearings in such a huge city, I find the game to be a good blend of action and stealth. Having the options for on-screen hints definitely helps. The best part is that this game makes dramatic use of the Wii U game pad controller, turning it into a Bat-Computer with a wide variety of options to use. My only other complaint is that I don't fully understand the events of the story, particularly since I have not played Arkham Asylum. Overall, a very good game. I would recommend it to comic book fans who love action/adventure/stealth games.

One of my favorite games of all time. Played in on the Xbox 360 and recently got it for the Wii U. It plays the same and already has all the DLC. Can't beat the price. Not much use of the gamepad however which was disappointing.

Played batman arkham city on the play station 3 a few years ago and loved it. Saw the wii u version at best buy for 19.99 and couldn't pass it up. Very good port of the game with a few cool additions using the wii u controller.

Wii U doesn't have a big library as PS or the XB, but most of them are really fun. This Batman is fun to play and graphs are very good, I'd say comparable to those you will see on the other consoles.

got this for my 12 year old...he loves it! I've watched him play it and the gameplay is fantastic! Batman is my favorite!

If you're starving to play any game on the Wii U this is one game to get. It has all of the content of the Game of the Year editions on the other consoles plus some exclusive armors and modes. And playing the whole game on the tablet while laying in bed or the couch ain't half bad either.

An amazing game. Runs as smooth as glass, looks incredible. and draws you in to the Batman univers like no other game before it. Can't pass it up at such a price.

This game should be in every Wii U owner's library. There's a ton of content, and it makes great use of the GamePad. Highly recommended.

This game is great and the Wii U version is the best one out. For one, it has the play on the second screen mode, meaning you can let your family watch TV while you play the game on your Wii U screen. You can also simply play it on the TV, and your second screen then becomes the Batman monitor that he has in the game. This game is also the best looking of all the Arkham City games. Great game.

NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE. NOT REALLY FOR YOUNG KIDS DUE TO THE VIOLENT NATURE, BUT IT DOES HAVE CERTAIN FUNNY SCENES.

Happy to see this game released for the Wii U, and pleased with WB Games support of the console. This was one of the top games of 2011 on PS3 and 360, so while it is just a minimally enhanced port, it is still a great game. No graphical improvements here, and if anything, the framerate suffers. Some of the GamePad enhancements are welcome (persistent map for example) but others feel tacked on.

Batman: Arkham City is a great game. It looks good on the Wii U and plays well with the Wii U game pad. Arkham City is expansive and I haven't even begun to explore all its corners. The game can be difficult at times; a bit frustrating trying to battle the bad guys without being killed.

Hands down one of the best games for the wiiu especially for the price!

I bough this game mainly for my wife. She saw a friend of us playing and was intrigued. Needless to say, I find her playing this every day after I get home from work. She seems to enjoy it, especially with how they incorporated the tablet.

Buy this game if you like story mode games!! I love playing the different stories as catwoman and robin!!!
