Customers recognize the immersive VR experience, excellent graphics, and generally positive story in Batman: Arkham VR. However, many feel the game is too short, and some experienced motion sickness or found the controls challenging. The price point is frequently praised as reasonable. A few players also wished for more content and gameplay variety.

Seeing Killer Croc in 3D coming at you is truly terrifying! Interesting story (no spoilers here) but I was a bit disappointed by how quickly it was over, which is why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. Scanning for clues was cool, if a bit creepy when scanning a dead body, LOL. And I enjoyed the Easter eggs scattered through the game, especially the photo of Dick & Tim. Puts the Move controllers to good use.

The graphics and VR aspects of this game are crazy good along with a great story line. Hooked from the moment I entered the Bat cave.

Need I say more? Probably so...
The game is short. How do I know? Well, the experience was so good I could not put it down until I finished it.
Using it with PS Move brings a level of immersion worth the PSVR Bundle purchase alone.
The game itself is fun as you navigate through the storyline as the famous billionaire detective superhero.
Graphics are on par with Arkham Knight, with of course a non-negligible level of immersion.
We could have used a more full-fledged experience but this game represents a very sweet taste of things to come.
Also, you are Batman... really.

One of the best PSVR Games

I never believed how good the game looked in YouTube videos and online reviews until I tried it on my PSVR. The game is gorgeous and places you inside Batman. This actually made me feel that I was Batman vs other Batman games where you feel like you are playing Batman. That's a huge thing for a die-hard fan. The environments are picturesque and the motions aren't jarring or nausea inducing which I liked the most. It was won VR awards and most deservingly so. Give it a try and you won't regret. Loved the bestbuy pickup experience as always.

This is a neat VR experience and uses the VR well but it is a fairly short experience and doesn't really feel like any of the other Batman experiences. Still good for a Batman fan.

As others have said it is a treat to the senses. Amazing graphics and yes you ARE Batman. However the cons of the game are that it is very very short and there is no free range movement. The game relies on porting from spot to spot for movement. You are using detective skills and tools, not fighting. That being said, I have no regrets over this purchase because the graphics are amazing, the game is immersive and fun.

I don't think a review is really needed here. You get to be Batman. What's not to like? You reach down to your utility belt to grab items with the motion controllers and use them to aim and interact. Be warned if you're planning on buying this game, you need the motion controllers. I made the mistake of getting it before I got those and I just had a blue game box to stare at for a week. The only drawback to the game is it can be beat in a couple hours. But for the price, it's well worth it.

The best part of this game was putting on the bat suit. Looking at it and then looking down at yourself in the suit, it was pretty cool. I did have a few controller issues the first time I played it but he second time I did not. The story was really interesting and in your face. It is a very mature story with surprising and shocking events. Then ending left me wanting more. It is very short but there is some replay value in being able to unlock different things. Overall very good but I want more.

We all know that VR is an evolving medium, but I found this game to be enjoyably immersive, although its a bit heavier on the storyline thnt the wham bam thank you bat stuff. Personally, I like that.

I had just recently purchases a VR set for my PS4 and was looking for some games and had heard about this one. The game is short and is more about detecting then action but showcases the immersion of VR and what it could become. I had fun with it and there is some reply value if you want to go back and solve the Riddler challenges, which has been a staple of all of Rocksteady's Batman titles.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game from beginning to end. To get the true immersion I recommend you play with the Move controllers and standing up. There were moments I jumped back and even experienced a little vertigo at one point looking over a ledge... I was blown away by that. The graphics are great, and although it is a bit short, it does have decent replay value. I've played it 4-5 times through already just to experience it all over again. A worthy addition to your VR collection.

Great introduction to VR

I must say it is a great introduction for a person to VR you do feel cool being batman.
Some positives:
Lots of things to interact with
Great puzzles in 3D
When the game is over there is playability solving new puzzles.
Some negatives:
The game is over way too quick,
Lose immersion teleporting from point to point.
Overall I'd say it's worth a purchase at $15 but maybe purchase on disk.

You are The Batman!

You will need a Playstation VR unit to play this game.
This is one of the best, if not the best, VR game available currently. It puts you in the boots of Batman while you solve a murder mystery in Gotham. There are tons of easter eggs and things to interact with while you are playing.
You play by using the Move controllers as your VR hands in the world, you can look all over and use some bat gadgets to help solve puzzles in the area.
The game is about an hour long for the main story, but you will want to go back to continue to find easter eggs, to mess around or to find all the hidden Riddler secrets that appear once you have cleared the game. Finding these will unlock models in the game to view in VR.
You won't believe how immersive the VR is until you play it for yourself. If you are a fan of Batman or VR, for sure pick this up. At the $20 price point you can't go wrong!

This was one of the coolest games I've ever played, after all, who doesn't want to be Batman? And I guess it's because of how awesome the experience is that I was so disappointed with how quickly it was over.
The graphics are very good, as well as the story. I only hope they release another game soon that picks up where this one left off because I was definitely left wanting more.

Cons: It is short. Like real short. 2 hours tops. Some modest replay value from the Riddler puzzles. But the game is pretty much over before you get your fill. The "It leaves you wanting more" saying doesn't do it justice. Which brings me to...
Pros: You get to be Batman. It feels sooooo good. Throw batarangs. Shoot the grapnel gun. Play detective. You have to try it. It's amazing. If you have a PSVR, this is the type of experience you were hoping for.

Game was interesting and the story was a little complicated, but it was short and there wasn't too much to do. Would've liked time on the Batman vehicles or time using the gadgets. It was more Batman themed than Batman features.

I am a big fan of the Arkham series, so I was excited to play a new VR experience in that universe. Having read some reviews prior, I kind of had an idea of what to expect. Overall, it was a good Batman simulator, but the main disappointment was the length of the experience. Should have been longer! What I saw, I liked. If there was more of it, I would give a 5 star rating.

Same great Arkham feel, rather abrupt

I would love to give this title 5 stars, but it simply too abrupt to earn them. It's the same great Arkham feel, but it's too rushed and feels unfinished. It's worth your time, and possibly your dollars, but don't count on more than an hour (maybe three) of gameplay. At least it's really good gameplay--thrilling, to be honest. Too bad it's over before it really begins.

Short about an hr to hr and a half without exploring for extras. But the details and story is amazing. You don't "play" as batman you are batman.
There are two options on how to be batman standing or sitting. Sitting doesn't work well on a couch since you on several occasions need to reach to or below your utility belt and the couch gets in the way. But standing for an hour or so wasn't a problem and added to the immersion.

Not too long, but you get to be Batman. Do you want to be Batman? I can only assume you do. It's now my go-to "show off VR" game. Not perfect- some transitions fade to black instead of letting you see what's happening (most notably, when driving somewhere in the Batmobile, you don't get to see the inside), but overall only minor issues.
