My son and I enjoy watching the various Bstmsn movies that are out on video. This one a new way to watch for me! As you watch, you can select various plot twists to see different outcomes. Overall, an interesting way to watch a movie. No spoilers here, but be prepared for several twists.

A good prequel or addition the the red hood animated movie. I love the option of the viewer having the option to change the outcome. The only criticism I would have is that maybe one or two more ending outcomes could've been longer. Other than great purchase. I hope WB/DC makes more interactive animations

I enjoyed the idea behind this interactive film and the new content it presented. My only negative critique would be that I wish it had more new content. If DC does more of these in the future I hope they can extend the run time and content. Still was not disappointed.

As with all DC animated movies - excellent animation quality and soundtrack and a great voice cast!!! Nice story line twist where the viewer gets to choose the outcome... sadly the feature only works with the Blu-ray disc, not on digital copy. Not what I was expecting... thought it would be a full stand-alone film, but more a a follow-up short film to the Red Hood film [3-stars]... overall, a good watch with some extra features thrown in and bonus movies. In fact, I gave it 5 stars because I enjoyed the accompanying short films: Adam Strange, Sgt. Rock, The Phantom Stranger and Death.

Really interesting idea. The interactive part is only on disc however. DOES NOT WORK ON THE DIGITAL COPY! Wish there was an option to choose all endings as a feature but my spouse and I enjoyed the gimmick well enough and it does have some good fun with a classic Batman story.

If you’re a DC Comics fan or even if you’ve only ever seen the animated movie Batman: Under the Red Hood, this is a great partnering movie. Not only does is masterfully full in story gaps to show more of the prequel story “Death of the Family” to fall more in line with the Comics, but it’s also a really unique feature to let the viewer craft out the narrative of the story. You get multiple different story paths and endings, making this be hours of entertainment. It’s also great to get the other DC Animated Shorts which further adds to the runtime of entertainment value.

Not to bad of an animated movie of batman. Was pretty much an impulse buy but not too bad of one. Comes with digital copy as well so that helps build my digital library lol. Wish mark Hammel did the voice over as the Joker because he's just the best voice over EVER!!!

Batman: Death in the Family the interactive movie is an interesting experiment. I only wish that there were multiple choices along more than one path. Also, I like commentary tracks, but they are better when the creators contribute to them.

Good adaptation of the original source material updated with a modern twist. The "choose your own adventure" format made it fun to find the different endings as well as bringing back the fun of the novels I read as a kid

This was great. The whole family enjoyed it. Giving only 4 stars because it is short (I'd give 4 1/2 if I could). We navigated through every possible choice and ending in just under 2 hours. Definitely worth the $ though.

Another installment in DC's Original Animated Movies. But this one takes a unique twist as the story changes in regards to the choices you make. Instead of Jason Todd dying at the hands of the Joker as in the orignal "Death in the Family," you can choose to save him and completely alter his fate. You can end up with one of seven different endings to the story. Not to mention, it also features all DC Showcase shorts up until now. Totally recommended for comic fans.

Excellent for any Batman fan especially if you love the story of Jason Todd and his relationship with the characters around him. Sadly Jensen Ackles didn't reprise his role as the titular character but I think the new voice actor Vincent Martella did an amazing job. This is definitely a must own for any Batman fan with just the wide array of endings and references alone.

Batman Death in the Family is an interesting take on the comic book storyline. Although not totally faithful to the comic book story, this was good and the differemt ending that can be selected was a nice feature.

I liked the main story that was inline with the comics. However, I'm not a fan of the multiple outcomes. Some were very brief and had no depth and inconclusive. I'd recommend if on sale.

Death in the family is an interesting mix of DC Animated movie and choose your own story adventure book. It is not a new DC Animated movie but old movies reworked into a choose your own outcome story.

Shipping altogether was pretty good besides the delay; just a warning on the video, one of the four endings is just the exact same footage that is in under the red hood. A good little experience though!

Interesting concept where the viewer chooses a different scenario that leads to a different outcome for the fate of Robin. NOTE: This will only work for the actual blu-ray and NOT the digital copy.

Provides a lot of interesting alternatives. The animation is slightly different from the others and the Jason Todd voice actor is not the same, so it’s not as smooth of a transition as I would like.

Confusing at first, I thought I was watching the red hood all over again. But it closed a lot of holes from the red hood. DC is taking over superhero animation Marvel, get your animation game up.

Only get this if you don't have Batman: Under the Red Hood. The storyline is almost identical. Also, the interactive portion only works on blu ray, not on digital.
