I think they did all they could to improve the looks and sound of this film. The HDR will test your set-up, especially the hilight end. Sound seems to be bit brighter and the bottom end a little lighter. Sound effects seem to be replaced or remixed from older editions. I’m sure after a few viewings it will be the ‘new normal’. Worth the upgrade but won’t knock your socks off.

While a bit dated relative to all of the comic book films we have nowadays, this is still a very good film after all these years. The 4K Blu-ray looks solid throughout and the Atmos track is no slouch either. Highly recommended.

Michael Keaton has always been my favorite Batman, and Jack Nicholson was awesome as the Joker. The UHD re-release of this movie is amazing to see in 4k. People who love the original haven't appreciated the original are trashing this because they updated the sound effects on this release, but you won't even notice it unless you are looking for it

The original OG batman that can never be topped! Best joker also!

One of the most iconic Batman movies of all time comes to UHD remastered and it delivers on all fronts. From the colors to the sound quality. If you are Batman fan then you want this part of your collection.

They did such a great job on the 4K presentation of this movie, that it's obvious in a couple of places that it's Michael Keaton's stuntman in the batsuit. That's how clear the picture is. Looks amazing.

This is a must have. They 4k upgrade looks incredible. I can’t get over how good of a 4k treatment classic films like this are getting. I feel grateful and lucky to be able to enjoy this. Don’t miss out.

This movie dominated the late 80’s. The hype surrounding it couldn’t have been bigger. While most of the effects (especially the miniature work) are appreciated for their craftsmanship, they do tend to take you out of the movie a little. Iconic portrayals, costumes, sets and tone make for the best Batman movie in the original run

The movie was in the display box near the Geek Squad counter. While I was waiting to get my computer, I looked at a number of the choices and found Batman. It was cheap, and I enjoyed it a lot.

Love this movie. The picture quality on the disc is great and the audio is top notch! There is detail in there I've never seen before. Even after all these years, the movie still holds up.

The new 4K transfer for all of the original Batman films are outstanding. The color and black levels feel much truer to how they would've been presented on the big screen in 35MM back in the day.

This movie looks incredible in 4k am very impressed it’s bright vivid if you own the blu Ray and wondering if this is worth the upgrade it’s worth it upgrade now you won’t regret it

bought this as it is one of my favorite movies... glad that came in 4K and I would recommend movie but would suggest waiting for September 2019 when this comes out in steel book

This Batman will always hold a place in my heart. The original cant be beat. Even though the film is older, I believe it has aged decently enough. Michael Keaton is the man.

My personal favorite Batman movie and the movie that I believe raised the bar towards the modern blockbuster superhero movie. High replay value, I never get bored of this one.

If you don't care that this was done in the 80s w/o a lot of special effects....then this it the best batman movie that has been made. Jack Nicholson shines as the joker!
