im rely glad i went threw with adding this to my collection love the old batman series. and this just plays great. i would recommend this to any of my friends im going to get the other 3 volumes. even showed up in just 4 days after order with no delivery plan! =D PS: Box arts awesome!

I have been sharing this gem with my kids. We love it. Brings us back to the 90's and the amazing storytelling that happened back then.

A must have for DC fan. DC animated movies are so much better than live action.

If you like your Batman story a little dark, the Animated series is the way to go.

This is hands down my favorite Batman animated movie of all time. The flashback scenes in this movies are so intense and the voice acting is terrific in this movie(I still feel for the voice actors who don't get the credit they deserve). The movie works well in almost every department and the dialogues are carefully written. This is not all about Batman or any other superhero/villain in this movie, but its way more than that. Watch it and you'll know what I mean..

If you are someone who has a general knowledge of the Batman lore then you will probably enjoy this film.

I actually bought this movie for my brother because he had been trying like crazy to find it! He had been telling me for a while how much he wanted it because it is a really good movie and he recommended for my family and I to watch it a few years ago ( we are Batman fans) but unfortunately I didn't get to watch it at the time but my husband did and he agreed that it is good! I need to ask my brother to let me borrow it LOL! For my brother to like it that much ( he doesn't usually like many movies) I have to say that I recommend it to anyone that is a Batman fan.

One of the best storylines of internal conflict with his family ties and legacy of vengeance.

The title says is all. Adapted from a comic book story "Under The Hood" the movie follows the comic story pretty closely except for a few edited parts. The voice acting is fantastic with standout performances by Bruce Greenwood as Batman,Jenson Ackles as Red Hood, and a performance that rivals Mark Hamill's Joker with John DiMaggio voicing the Clown Prince of Crime. Great action sequences and story that moves along nicely and doesn't get bogged down. A definite recommended for any batman fans out there.

The mystery behind the man behind the red hood was interesting. Batman is faced with a new criminal killing other crime lords in Gotham while wearing a red mask. Unknown to Batman, this new vigilante knows everything about him; including his identity. These animated movies fleshes out Batman's struggles of morality with his foes and allies. It is the eighth animated feature in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series. This is a fantastic film with a great story overall.

I had not watched since high school in the mid 90s. I now have my own high schoolers and pre schooler. I ordered it and had it before the week was out. I enjoyed it just as much as I did in high school. The great part was I got to introduce it to my three children and the all LOVED IT. Including my 4 year old daughter. The animation was superb, voice acting top notch, and story lines incredible. This was perfect in the 90s and is just as real an and exciting today.

This is an animated film adaptation of one of the most iconic storylines within the Batman mythos. The translation from comic to the big screen worked out very well and there are plenty of twists, thrills, and great action scenes. Overall a very satisfying and compelling film that will keep you glued to your seat until the very ending. DC has yet to disappoint me with any of their animated films and this is no exception.

This is one of my favorite Batman animated movies. There are tons of plots & twists in this movie. This film is intense & Batman's archenemy the Joker is just as menacing as ever. Batman does suffer tragedy once again & he must deal with a new vigilante bent on eliminating crime by any means necessary. How will Batman deal with this new threat? If you want to found out watch the movie. Definitely a must buy for any comic book fan.

This is a great movie that expands upon the Batman legacy and mythology. Making the Batman question his methods and decisions in the past. It brings out the best of a character we have loved since childhood and adds more depth and emotion through powerful storytelling and great voice acting. You definitely have to watch this if you love the Batman comics, movies, or tv shows.
