Growing up watching this TV series I never looked at it as a comedy - I was a kid and I wanted Batman to get the Gotham City's most notorious arch-criminals.......Joker, Penguin, The Riddler, King Tut, Catwoman, Siren, Louie The Lilac, etc....This was one funny show!!! This season also introduces Batgirl - need I say more? Many people consider this the "Jump The Shark" season for the series - I disagree - it's hilarious and the quality is second to none! A must buy for any fan of the series!

The series was running out of steam after two seasons, and to get renewed the producers made some changes. They brought in lovely Yvonne Craig as Batgirl, which definitely worked. And they abandoned the two part episodes for mostly single and occasionally three part stories - which really didn't work. But good and not so good changes didn't matter. The series ended after this season. In addition to all of the television stuff, this collection includes visits to obsessed Batman collectors and discussions with some of the actors and people from DC Comics. It's a good value collection.

The 1960s Batman television series wasn't perfect, but I was (and still am) a comic book fan, and I was happy it was on TV. The third and final season of the series introduced a new character -- Batgirl. She was soon added to the comic books, Yvonne Craig did a great job of bringing her to life, and she was a major teenage crush of mine. I bought the complete third season from Best Buy on Black Friday, and I'm really happy to have it. It brings back a lot of fun from my teenage years.

The acting is just as over the top & cheesy as it always was, but there's a marvelous selection of famous guest stars & lots of comedic action/adventure. Definitely a must-have if you're after the whole set. "BAM, POW, ** Ooof**" and they're up against another oddball villain!

after far too long this amazing series is released on DVD. Every episode is complete and uncut and looks like it was shot yesterday. The show looks great, even in the last cheaper season. The performances are all spot on as well. Highly recommended.

Holy toledo Battery Fans it's so great to finally complete my set. I grew up on this series and was happy to be able to have the entire set. For those of us who saw these episodes way back when you won't be disappointed with these episodes

There are many iterations of the famous DC Comics character, but nothing will ever mirror this fantastic TV Series. Campy, cheesy, entertaining to the max, and all around great time. Iconic to a tilt.

Great collection of old school Batman episodes. The video quality is top notch for a DVD (I typically aim for blu ray) and you can't beat the price on this Black Friday purchase. Would definitely buy again.

So excited to finally be able to see these so many years later. I watched them with my brother everyday after getting home from school in the 70s.. Terrific quality. Highly recommend for any Batman fan.....

Love it! It's amazing how many different interpretations that one character can have and still be entertaining. Especially when you can get it at a great Black Friday price!

With the introduction of Batgirl and the return of many of Batman's vilest villains, this season has some of the series' high points. The special features are wonderful.

The final season of the 60's camp classic finally released for home video. Fun to re-visit these classic episodes; brilliantly remastered and a great price from Best Buy!

I loved this version of Batman as a kid and it is still fun to watch! Glad they did a great restoration on the show better then picture then it was when it was on TV!

What more can you say about old classic Batman TV episodes! The TV show is great... The DVD is great (I got it for a good price). I just think it's stupid that the money-grabbers divided up the season into 2 parts, just to make you buy 2 sets of DVDs (that's why I hold out for a sale).

The cap to the set of reprints of the first great surreal superhero TV shows. At the time, everybody wanted to play a wacky villain, it was fun and it showed.

A blast from the past!!! The picture and sound were great for a show filmed around the 70's. Enjoyed every minute of the caped crusader and the boy wonder!!!

Great DVD for anyone who grew up in the 1970s and remembers watching Bateman after school or for anyone who enjoys superhero shows. Classic.

This is a true classic. If you enjoy Adam West, and cheesy, corny humor and action, this is for you, especially if you enjoy Batman.
