I was very disappointed for being a R rated movie, I figured it would be very dark like the comic series but the content remined me of a high pg-13. The story over all was boring. And not worth the money for collector edition.

I purchased 2 shields, bought 1 wrong one and one was damaged upon opening. I returned the next day only to be told i was stuck with both purchases due to company policy on opening product although intact. $70 lost

I actually took this movie back. After listening and reading reviews, it seemed to gruesome for me. I'll on this movie just like I have the last 2 DC original movies.

I have to say I thought this would be great since the comic is great but it was not! Do not waste your time buying this movie just rent it and save the money.

it takes around half an hour to actually get into the main story, by that time, you don't even care anymore. Good picture and sound, but very overrated.

This was an absolutely terrible movie. Please don't waste your money. I'm just mad I opted to purchase the collectors edition.

the book and figure are the only things worth it. movie is just downright bad.

Most of the DC universe cartoons are always good. Had high hopes for this one but it totally let me down.

I bought it for my son but haven't watched it yet but I didn't realize it was rated R when I bought it.

Expected so much more. Which is my fault. Take my review for what it worth.... nothing. Lol. Cheers

Very short, and very weird. Interesting take on things, but not a great overall show

This was not even close to the original graphic novel, avoid if possible

Great entry to Batman animations and a great 4k UHD disc.

One of my favorite graphic novels for one of my favorite characters. I was kind of like "get to it already" because the first 30 minutes was all new Joker free material. It wasn't terrible but it prolonged the wait for what we all wanted to see. Animation was good but the DC Animated films have had better. The voice acting was obviously top notch with Hamill and Conroy owning it.

For 30 years people have dreamed of this. Had one person, who never read the graphic novel, complain about the animation at times, never realizing that they were staying with the orig style of artwork. This movie is great, but not perfect. Sometimes the pacing feels off and there are some things that differ from the source material... no spoilers. Overall well worth the buy.

While DC's live-action movies are having a hard time standing up to the Marvel Universe, their animated films are on point. This film does a great job of representing one of the most notable storylines in the Batman canon. It also brought back the voice actors from the 1990s series which is loudly rated one of the best animated super hero series ever. Whether you're a classic fan or new to the DC universe you will enjoy this film. Heads up though: it's rated R for a reason so be prepared for a beautifully messed up story.

I never read the comic or graphic novel this movie is based on so I had no idea what this movie would be about. I ended up enjoying the movie and would end up rating it a B. Also be advised this is an R rated movie and don't recommend for young children watching this.
