Customers are positive about the gameplay and story in Batman: The Telltale Series. Many praised the game's quality and the engaging storyline. However, some customers felt the game lacked action compared to other titles in the series. Overall, the positive feedback on the gameplay and story outweighs the concerns about the action sequences.

I tried to like this game... I love all the other Telltale games. This one is just missing something in my opinion. Also, it seems like it completes actions without even pressing on a button sometimes. It feels like they just put it out unfinished.

Batman the telltale series is not that good. It tells you every move to make. You can't go off and do your own thing.

As soon as they were opened and tried on, one glove worked (light up lights) and the other didn't. Opened the other set of gloves and neither glove lit up. I'm definitely returning to Best Buy!!!!

This game is just a point and click. Never played any Tell Tale games, so I understand it has its own fan base, but these type of games aren't for me. It's essentially an interactive comic book.

I had only recently come into contact with TellTale games when they announced they were doing a Batman series. Having only played seasons 1 & 2 of their Walking Dead games, I was excited about the idea of them taking on the Caped Crusader. Luckily I was not disappointed in the least.
I've been a huge Batman fan all of my life, seen every movie, read nearly every comic. TellTale does wonders here by taking most of your expectations on the character and the world of Gotham City and subverting them in unexpected ways. This is Batman starting out. Jim Gordon is not yet commissioner, Harvey Dent is not yet Two-Face, Oswald Cobblepot is not yet The Penguin, and so on. I recently finished the entire season and loved absolutely every minute of it. I was devastated at the ends of certain episodes, unsure that I've made the right decisions. The best part is now that I've played through the season one way, I can't wait to go through it again and make different decisions. One of them I will talk about at the end of my review, so for those of you who have finished this first season, you can check it out.
This is a fantastic game, a perfect blend of story, character, decision-making, and action. I love this version of Batman and this world of Gotham. It always kept me on my toes and I had to bite a bullet or two because I trusted people I shouldn't have, simply based on my knowledge of the character in the comics/movies. It's a great twist on a familiar story, and I can't wait for season 2.
****SPOILER*****
In my version, Harvey Dent never went through his physical deformity because I chose to save him over Catwoman in episode 3 (believing she would be able to take care of herself). And while the Two-Face personality took over, he still looked like Harvey Dent to me, which was very interesting. There are a number of decisions right off the top of my head that I would love to go back and change to see where the story goes.

This is a good game, with an interesting story, but it earns it's M rating with language and violence.
If you're a fan of Batman it's fun to make decisions as Bruce Wayne/Batman and seeing how those decisions will play out.

Telltale delivers again! Love this series, right up there with Tales from the Borderlands and Back to the Future. Highly recommend it. If you like Batman this is a must.
