The Batman DC animated movies are up there with Nolans Trilogy and at times surpasses! This ones no exception!! The 4k quality is great too!

Frank Miller completely revamped Batman in the Dark Knight series which is what Nolan's trilogy is based off of. This graphic novel also by Miller is likewise as good. It's like an orgin story of Batman without getting too much into his parents death. Instead it focuses on his first year as Batman. Also includes the bluray and DVD animated movie of Year One. This and Superman's death / Doomsday are the two digibooks you must have!

Average film ....the graphic novel makes it worth it. The feature film is decent but the graphic novel which comes with it is superb it is hard cover and the artwork is brilliant

A great movie. I only wish the catwoman animated short was a longer movie. Otherwise everything was good exspecialy the animation for this movie. Truly incredible to me. The voice cast is great as well. I'm glad I own batman yearone animated blu-ray movie. I give it 5 stars truly for sure. Breathe batman movie truly for sure. I'm very happy to own batman yearone movie.

Batman:Year One is the updated story of Bruce Wayne's early days as Gotham's Dark Knight, and this combination book-and-video package covers all the bases. The book itself is what can only be called a trade hardback that includes the important comic issues, plus a DVD, Blu-Ray disc and coupon-code for an Ultraviolet copy. If you are a Batman fan wanting the current version of Batman's caped origin, get this.

I have been a major fan of Batman since childhood. Recently, DC as started to produce cinematic versions of many of the best Batman graphic novel series. Batman: Year One is a very faithful rendition of the graphic novel of the same name, and is certainly worth the purchase for Batman fans. My only complaint is that some of the voice acting seems a bit out of place for the characters, but this is a minor quibble.
