How can anyone give this a bad review? First you get one of the greatest graphic novel of all time by the great Frank Miller (I said one of the greatest so please don't get too upset with me.) Secondly you get the blu ray, DVD, and for the people who care (I am not one of them) the digital download. Batman Year one is a great story but it focuses more on LT. Gordon and not Batman himself it looks like the creator of the hit series Gotham might have been inspired by this novel as well. It is a great Pick up, and by the way it also gets points for being in a Hardcover book and not a soft cover book. So Six stars out of 5. Wait I can't do that oh well.

Frank Miller's famed dark comics story is finally brought to life in this DC Universe's Animated film. Even though this epic tale is condensed to a mere 64 minutes run time, the film does justice to the story and keeps you interested in more as this story will unfold (we hope) in future animated features. Anyone who knows this story of Year One there is no other information that can sell the good job Warner Premiere did with this disc. PQ is on par for this type of animation with solid colors and good uses of black. AQ is quite good and features a strong 5.1 active track. A nice slew of extra's rounds out this must own disc for Batman fans and animated fans.
