Growing up a strict Marvel fan and now into my low 30s I never paid mich attention to anything DC related, until my best friebd talked me into watching DC's animated films .. wow just awesome! I now own every DC animated film they offer on blu ray and not a single one has let me down yet! You cant go wrong with these movies.

I have both the graphic novel and the Bluray/DVD combo so seeing this made me face palm and think why haven't they come up with something cool like this before! It's perfect for a 'keep the gift under $20' caveat and represents the best of both worlds for your DC enthusiasts. Not really meant for kids so parents of young ones beware.

I loved every one of these graphic novel edition blu rays! Even if the movies were sub par, the collected comic makes it every bit worth it. This purchase was a double dip but I'm fine with that because this was one of the best Direct movies with a near perfect Frank Miller story thrown in just to make it perfect!

I love these sets with hardback graphic novel, blu ray movie, and digital copies of both. I have several and if I didn't have some of the other in book or blu ray versions I would have bought them all. Year One is a great story and one of the better DC animated features.

I've been wanting this combo for a while and it magically appeared at my local Best Buy shelf. The movie itself looks great and is a great adaptation of the book which I had never read until now. If you are a batman fan, get it.

This item is great! The graphic novel is of great quality! The only thing I didn't like, but no big deal is that the Blu Ray and DVD are stored on the back cover of the novel. They do not come with their own case.

I thought this was actually a well done animated movie. I enjoyed it. After I got it however, I noticed it was in my Batman 18 film collection. Oh well.

This title includes the animated versions of Frank Miller's Batman story arcs from the 1980s. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the animation. However, the storyline is set in the 1980s and may not resonate as well with younger audiences today as those that read the original comic versions back in the 1980s. Some elements seem out of place in the post-9/11 era in the US. Recommended for fans of Frank Miller's work.

This has the classic Frank Miller graphic novel and the animated version on Bluray/DVD, as well as digital versions of both novel and film. For $15 it's a great way for new fans of Batman or comics in general to enter the scene. My only gripe is the Bluray/DVD comes within the graphic novel in a paper sleeve page. I would've preferred the actual plastic case for proper storage with the rest of my movies.

Amazing Deal! Graphic Novel alone is $11.99 for the digital copy and Blu Ray movie is $15-20 by itself. Don't pass this deal up. With this deal you get a both hardback copy and digital copy of the graphic novel, Blu Ray, DVD, and digital copy of the movie.

For people who don't already own a copy of this story, this set is a great deal, especially when it's on sale. The graphic novel itself is a nice hardback volume and the animated movie is a faithful adaptation of the story and is well executed.

As I'm sure any comic fan knows, anything written by the great Frank Miller is top quality. This is probably my second favorite batman story of all time. Plus with the Movie included in the hardcover graphic novel it is a sweet buy!

Let's see Bruce Wayne chopping a tree down barehanded and hitting a hooker? Check! Jim Gordon putting the beat down on a squad of dirty cops before getting his As* handed to him? Check! Jim Gordon giving a guy a baseball bat as a handicap and still kicking the tar out of him? Check! If this doesn't excite you than perhaps you should just stick to French foreign films...

I highly recommend this movie. It tells the story of Batmans first year. Buy It!!!!!

Excellent animated movie, the story Is really good, the voice acting Is really good, overall great movie.

This is perfect for everyone. From just beginning comics to been reading them your whole life. This is one of the best deals I have ever seen. You get the bluray and digital copy plus the book it based on amazing.

Big fan of the Batman and all the side characterss too and this noir ish story line and the dvd that came witrhdid not disapoint quite the opposite i loved it my kids loved it my cell phone loved it and the dude in the seat next to mine on the plane loved it to and the price (under 15.00) was great

This is another great Batman movie! It was different than I expected but was entertaining and a good animated movie. The bluray was clear and good quality. I will watch this movie more than once!
