People can say all they want about this game or any other FPS shooter games out there, but when it comes down to it. Overall best modern war realistic FPS game up to date is by far Battlefield Bad Company 2. The maps are bigger than most FPS online games out there. You can drive tanks, ATVs, trucks, boats and helicopters Blow up buildings and vehicles etc with bombs and RPGs. The graphics are pretty good. Could be better with 1080, but the 720 will do. Looks better than most 1080 FPS shooters anyways. The guns are so realistic. With every shot and loading. Gravity plays a role too like in real life. Every time that you die. You can come back as a Assault, Engineer, Medic or Recon. Not like other FPS online games you don't have an option after you choose. Also you have different appearance, uniforms etc with different class. Plus there's a upgrade uniform that you can purchase online. Which with make you more blend to the background. The sound is awesome too. You can hear your foot steps, others foot step etc. If they get close to you. But be care, if they sneak up on you. You may not hear them. The sounds of the guns, bombs etc is awesome too. Finally a game that you can actually play as a real sniper. All the different guns are awesome and also the scopes. Every class has at least 8 different guns to choose from. So that's at least a total of 32 different guns to choose from. Create how you like to play. With choosing the gun, the scope, the bombs etc. Unlike Black Ops. From using spy planes to see enemies on the maps. Seems so fake if you ask me. When you spot a enemy or enemies. You or you teammates will have to spot them. By aiming at them, by pressing select. That will put a mark on them and mark them on the map. It will also make your person call out to your teammates that a enemy is target. In this game you will have to use strategy, tactics and teamwork to win. Unless other brainless FPS games out there. That you just go around and find a enemy to shoot. Run around and shoot like kids playing tags. This is definitely a game for gamers and not noobies and little kids. Other FPS games out there when compare to Battlefield Bad Company 2. Is like comparing pin pong to tennis. Go out and get Battlefield Bad Company 2 and play it for awhile until you get used to it and then come back and play COD Black Ops and you'll know exactly what I mean. When it comes down to it. Battlefield Bad Company 2 overall IS the best first person shooting game up to date! A must have!

My only question is: Why isn't this as popular as Call of Duty? What I've played in the campaign has been awesome, but I haven't played through all of it. I decided to try out the multiplayer and never went back. The maps for multiplayer are absolutely huge compared to Modern Warfare 2. Sniping in this game is incredible. Vehicles also add another level of awesomeness to the multiplayer experience. However, the matches don't seem as fast paced as MW2's. That's probably because of the maps being 5 or more times bigger, on average. The language is extremely profane, but very comical if you listen to it.

Im really into first person shooters like all call of duty and medal of honor. I own a lot of these types of games and i must say this game stands out from all the rest. The Graphics are great the campainge is good and the online is really fun. So as far as the online play goes its very very fun it chages it up from the normal run and gun status. In this game you will find a lot more team work and more strategy. The maps are really huge wich makes for tons of different ways to attack also there are all kinds of vehicels and tons of game types its a great game to have and tons of fun to play over and over.

This game is amazing! i was an avid call of duty player until i came across this game. the number one great thing about battlefield bad company 2 is, the maps are HUGE so it makes it fun, you dont have to worry about campers with noob tubes because (unless on hardcore) a grenade launcher takes two shots for a kill, and the environment is destructible. honestly, i think the makers of bbc2 spent ALOT more time and thought on this game then treyarch did with call of duty black ops. i highly recommend this game. the only real problem i had with the game, was that it lags a lot. maybe thats just my connection though.

Okay, heres the deal for any CoD lovers(which i am as well). BC2 is a way more fun multiplayer exp. I have been playing MW2 & BO since Nov 09 when i picked this up(couple of days ago). i love the team aspect and vehicles. Way better than some lame host shooting your shadow and killing you, then killing you again with a dog. The only prob ive had with BC2 is losing my rank.its like the server doesnt recognize my unlocks, but always comes back (like in a couple of hours). But if you are a true FPS player, get this game-you wont be dissappionted! Trust me, this game will be more fun and you wont have to worry about heart damage due to a blood pressure rise from 10yr old kids swearing at you/.. Hope this helps.

Online: This game is by far the best game.Its worth spending the money on.You ll also get more for free if you buy this then any other. Mw2 is priced for 49.99 this is only 39.99 + free map packs , battlefield 1943 , Onslaught mode. It has vehicles and weapons that aren't over powered like in some fps.You can also change your classes in game.Last but not least, the graphics are spot on and beautiful. Story Mode: The story mode is great but the only bad thing is its short and 9 out of 10 times your leading the squad meaning there following you.

This game brings back the realism of war to a video game. The campaign is witty and includes the characters from the previous game. It delivers that epic moment too where other war games may fail. One problem with it though is, if you are one of those who enjoys running straight thorugh a campaign it'll be a lot harder to do so due to the toughness of the enemies. But what really caught my eye was the realistic online gameplay. You have different custimizale loadouts which each have their own perks. If you enjoy Call of Duty sniping I don't reccomend this sniping because it is much more difficult and needds patience. One downside to the online play is that you'll get stuck in a squad with bad teammates. There is the option to go Alone but where's the fun in that?

Just an overall true pleasure to play, like a lot of other people have said nothing really like CoD in any way but it is different in a good way! Maps are huGe, great selection of weapons, vehicles and the list goes on and on...

First off, I bought the Ultimate Edition when it was on sale for $39.99!! That's a steal considering all of the extra content you get. The campaign mode is decent but the Online Multiplayer is where it's at. I've played COD but I think BFBC2 is better because you get to blow anything and everything up, there's helicopters and trucks and a large # of people still playing this online!! I was hesitant at first but I read all the online reviews and I jumped on it. I am definitely happy with my purchase and hope you buy it so we can play online!!

This Game is more for realistic gamers, i recommend this game to players who want to know how the war is really felt like. Amazing Sounds and destructive environment. This game in my point of view beat COD hands down no offense to any COD fans. i play COD too but play this game more. People get this game you wont be dissapointed. Multiplayer is the best hands down.

i Have to say this game is the best but the only way it can b its best is if you play the single player because it is really fun and then the multiplayer is better but the hard part is that you have to get used to the controls but thts easy

If you are looking for a game like Call of Duty dont bother buying this one! Complete change of pace, and gameplay, but in a really good way. Bigger Maps, I would say a little bit more squad based and tactical in a way. All around just a great game cant go wrong with it!

I own Battlefield Bad Company 2 on PC and PS3. I enjoy the heck out of both of them. Overall the game suits a slower style of play than the majority of newer FPS games. A lone wolf cannot win the game for his/her side, although with a good team a squad or two can. If you enjoy team work and helping others, using your equipment correctly to assist your team by spotting throwing med packs, ammo boxes etc. then this game is for you. If you enjoy the faster paced lone wolf games then I would suggest you take a pass on this one.

This game was a very fun game with a fairly decent story to it. I thought the first one was a lot funnier than this one but that was not a huge deal. What I did not like as much about this game as I did in the first game is that even in the first game's single player campaign , you had a lot more options of vehicles to ride in and also much more freedom on where you could go on the battlefield. The graphics of this game were much better than the first (not that the first one was bad). I also definitely enjoyed all the different weaponry in this game. Overall a very good experience and will definitely play it again.

This is a great game, and I believe that you just simply cant go wrong with this game in any way. The campaign could use some tweaking here and there but other than that it is a great game. I mostly bought this game because of the Multiplayer part of it!

Although this game is several years old, the Ultimate Edition with all its features makes it feel like a brand new experience. The game its self is great. Multiplayer-wise; its chock-full of fun and plenty of hours spent. The campaign is short, but its the same characters from the last Bad Company we know and love. The Ultimate Edition adds in Battlefield 1943, Onslaught mode, and the VIP code (more maps and what-not). This game is worth 60$ to me, even at 3 years old. Solid game that I still play, can't wait for Battlefield: Bad Company 3!

Like a lot of the other people have been saying the gameplay on this game is amazing watch some videos maybe if you really are debating on getting this game but I can just about guarantee anyone that you will not be disappointed one bit!

First of all, I've only played the game for 2-4 days. Not played the Vietnam DLC or Battlefield 1943 game included with this. I played this game in the Beta stages along the MAG beta and enjoyed this one a bit more. Since then I'd held off because I had enough FPSs (First person shooters). I couldn't forget about the game though. When playing the other games I kept on thinking about destructible environments. While I have a shooter of every main type, this game has its own niche among shooters. The graphics aren't the greatest and weapons are few in number, but this game still stands out in the pack. It's nothing ground-shattering, but it's certainly has its unique features in a good way.

im addicted is all i can say campain mode is a little too easy compared to mf2 but online in my opinion its wayyy better
