Multiplayer after multiplayer games can get repetitive after awhile. Hardline has a lot of what one loves in Battlefield and yet freshens it up with an urban warfare type feel. Despite the reviews on some sites, I have enjoyed the campaign too. Again the story is a nice diversion from the same typical war games we have been playing for years.

I started withe the E3 Alpha test. It had a few minor issues which were fixed by the 1st beta in Sept and a few more tweaks from there for the open beta in Jan. Now with the full game it has played SO SMOOTHLY online. Picking a games is quick and very little load getting into ea game. Hacker, which is like Commander if you played Battlefield 4, is fun and very easy to get maxed out in a few hrs of playing. Talking to squads is funny when they don't want to foilow a spotting command. Playing as a cop or robber is basically same as other battler fields but getting the weapons are money based. Which isn't bad because earning money is so easy. Grab lots of money in Heist and Blood Money. Get a good squad and run Conquest as team play IS ENCOURAGED to get the most points and money. Hotwire is Domination by taking a vehicle and driving it fast to capture it. You can earn points and money as a driver or even as a passenger. Singe player is fairly easy and surprisingly not much shooting is needed. Arresting people gets you more points, cash and faster unlocks.

Campaign: When it comes to single player the battlefield series has always fallen way short compared to counterpart COD which is still the case in Hardline however this time we are actually given characters we can care about as well as some very cool ways to play through missions (I just arrest everyone) plus the hidden items actually have an actual reason behind them other then a trophy/achievement, solving cases with evidence as a side plot sure beats looking for random laptops that don't even have anything on them. Multiplayer: Fun to play, still has a few kinks that future updates should fix, It may not be BF3 good but it's definitely better than BF4 in this department

I am very much enjoying this game along with my Platoon. Much more enjoyable than Battlefield 4. No players spamming jets or attack helicopters because there is none in this game and it is one of my favorite things about this game. I like that it is a much more faster paced game, but not as fast as CoD games, just faster than other Battlefield games. The single player campaign was even more enjoyable than the BF4. At least you get see the character you are playing as during cut scenes and he talks!! And since it is a Battlefield game, it is still all about teamwork to win in mutliplayer which is why I've always been a BF player.

Buy this for the multi player only the single player is a supreme test of patience. The story moves slowly and the cut scenes are longer then the actual game play. Also if you fail and have to restart part of a mission you have to sit through a the load screen for almost a minute. Online is much better even though the player models are too small compared to COD. I thoroughly enjoyed the vehicles in online mode. Overall CODAW is a better game but Hardline is still fun.

Battlefield Hardline actually has a great single player campaign. It's not your typical shoot everything Battlefield. There's some finesse to the stealth options within the single player campaign. Multiplayer is MORE of the same that you'd expect from BF. This version plays faster with the same expansive, 64-player action. The cops and robbers angle provides a bit of a twist to the multiplayer modes. All around, it's another fun Battlefield game.

Awesome game, will provide hours of entertainment. Has lots of large and small maps and a ton of weapons.

When looking into this game, remember it is a spin off of Battlefield, not a sequel. Don't expect radical improvements over Battlefield 4. That said, the game works great, the maps are fun, and the pace is much faster creating much more intense fights. Story mode is also well designed with a story that, while isn't the best, stands firm on its own and is designed like a criminal investigation show such as CSI. Well worth the purchase.

I have been out of the Battlefield franchise for a couple years now, sense the 2 installment. I have heard good and bad reviews of the previous games and felt like i was not missing much. Well i finally decided to get back into the series and I love Hardline!! Freaking Awesome! Great matches inside, servers are good, graphics and story line are top notch. Cannot wait for the 5th installment to come out in 2016!!

I'll start with single player mode, it's pretty good and straightforward. I like that you can either kill or arrest the criminals, with arrests giving more experience points, when you are running through levels. It's a ok story and action packed. Multiplayer is fun and the new tools, grappling hooks and such, make a great addition.

This is battlefield is just different enough from 4 that it is a nice alternativetative shooter and has some great match types for those needing some thing new. I might wait for a sale not sure it's worth 60 but its certainly a fun game. Better single player as well.

I'm so loving this game. Must have game! Not usually by genre of choice; but Battlefield: Hardline is helping me see FPS' in a whole new light! Story is solid; gun play is great, multiplayer is totally awesome! Game of the Year type stuff! You simply have to try it for yourself!

This game was a great change from the typical military shooter. It holds true to the concepts of the game but adds a nice variety. Maps are well done and the single player is very cool. I wont ruin it but the way they did the single player is really fresh and new.

I don't think I've encountered a FPS where I like all the maps. Yes, I do have favorites but I am willing to play on any map because they're all equally challenging and engaging in their own way. Online multiplayer is the best part of this game, hands down

Love the game, is a blast to pay semi fast pace. I like that u dont have to run for 5 min to get to battle like bf4 but at the same time dont spawn and get shot from the back like COD. It works great from day one no rubber banding like bf4.

This game is intense and fast paced. I like to play a sniper and the maps aren't as good as BF4 or BF3 for sniper play. Still it's fun with new weapons and accessories. I would highly recommend this game if you enjoy BF3/4.

First off, this game is not just a rehash of BF4. All of the BF games have large amounts of similarities, as does this. But, I think it is the freshest take on BF since BC. Besides, I personally am glad it is different; If I want a military-based FPS, the BF4 community is still very active! Reasons to play the campaign: There is a lot of effort spent by Visceral in creating an immersive campaign, and it is my favorite BF campaign, after BC2, obviously! (I realize that it being my "favorite" is not a good reason, but I think it conveys my enjoyment). Also, the campaign is more of a centerpiece than other BF games. And, I don't think I am the only one who feels that way; look at reviews by Polygon and other sources and you get more of the same feel.

This is the best battlefield yet! Great story, graphics and gameplay is so smooth and realistic. The gadgets are amazing grappling hook zip lines makes the game so fast. Recommend this game to anyone who loves FPS.

I am not usually a fan of FPS Call of Duty Type games. But this game excelled on every level. The story was engaging, almost like playing an episode of Law and Order, and it felt good be the Cop for a change.
