For those used to Battlefield multiplayer it seems like it has less weapon selection overall, and as far as i can tell there are no tanks or jets in multiplayer so if that was your thing in previous battlefields its not for you. Other than that its a good game with inventive new game modes that can be really fun.

Battlefield Hardline is an entertaining game with an interesting concept of cops & robbers. The game play runs smoothly but feels very similiar to previous Battlefield titles; this is not necessary a negative but may annoy some gamers. 4/5 stars

Not what I expected it actually exceeded my expectations, fun and fresh gamplay. I enjoy it a lot and even the story is a great fresh game.

New game modes are a bit generic but the shooting mechanics are great. I can't say much for the single player experience because I've only played multi-play but the first episode is pretty darn exciting and I look forwards to playing the campaign til its conclusion. If you like battle field it's a must buy

I like the direction this game takes the franchise. It's not the played out war scenario we have done so many times before. It reminds me of an awsome action movie only I'm in charge of who gets shot first or how stealthy I should be. The game looks great and the voice acting is pretty good. 4 out of 5.

A new approach to the FPS genre I found it more tactical trying to bust everyone instead of just run and gunning. The story piece has some explosive set pieces but runs a little on the short side. Luckily, the bank heists in multiplayer kept me engaged long after the story mode was finished.

If you're a Battlefield fan then this won't disappoint. Gameplay is consistent with the rest of the franchise and the new theme is enjoyable. Ziplines and hooks add a new way to use the map and employ tactics and the new mode hotwire can be fun. I do miss the military hardware from BF4 though...

The gameplay was amazing. The weapons could be tweaked a little. I found very few situations that called for sniper rifles. It's best to sneak around and take them out one by one. The game felt short, but I'm now going back to collect all the clues and it's just as much fun as the first time.

The cops and robbers setting is a good change from the usual military standard, but sometimes you miss being able to blow things up with a tank. Some of the modes can get tiring after multiple play through, but you still have traditional conquest and TDM. Unlike BF4, this game actually works!

I've admittedly been a diehard Battlefield since Bad Company and have owned every entry in the series since. Batefield Hardline plays like any other game in the series but is destinguished by it's focus on Cops and Robbers instead of soldiers and terrorists. Another big change are the smaller, tighter maps over the huge, sprawling maps the the BF series is known for. If you're a fan of the franchise, the game has both enough new features and enough similarities to the satisfy any fan of the series.

I purchased this game for my husband. I watched him play this game. I really liked how they made the game seem like it was a show. When he went to save the game and turn it off they showed what is going to happen or what you should expect when you play it again like they would show the preview of the next episode of a cop show. I enjoyed watching him play this game and I'm not a huge fan of watching him play games I usually end up falling asleep. It has just enough action and a great story line.

Game is similar to bf4 in many ways. The cops vs robbers is a fresh take on the series. Only issue I have is the server size makes the game a bit too fast paced for my liking. If you like a fast paced game where it doesn't take longer to get shot at then this is the game fore you.

The campaign is garbage- but that's not why you bought this game. The multiplayer is fantastic, albeit it a slight departure from previous games in the serious. The slightly smaller maps actually keep the action going, and overall this seems much more balanced then the last ones.

This game can basically be looked at as a modded version of Battlefield 4. Uses the same engine and everything. Looks great and a fresh breath from the Battlefield series. Fast paced and fun, almost reminds me of a modern day counterstrike. Great game, worth the purchase.

It's an overall decent attempt to get away from the 'war' scenery as in the previous titles of battlefield. The single play campaign is not a stellar job but they never are meant to be. Online gameplay is definitely fun if you have friends that know what they're doing.

So after the barely playable BF4 launch and subsequent poor performance over the course of the next year, Hardline is a surprisingly capable entry into the series. Best of all, it just works as intended. The main detracting factor for me is the stupid spawn system...

Doesn't bring too much new the old formula, though it does feel "less serious" than previous Battlefield games. Campaign has also improved, but multiplayer is still the highlight of the game. If you enjoyed the previous iterations, you will enjoy this one as well.

Like the title it's an amazing game, really good but it doesn't have that authentic battlefield feel, example no large vehicle combat. Now I understand cops don't have MBT's but still I like battlefield for the huge battles where as hardline is base infantry combat

Game is a fresh change of pace over typical every year same ole shooter. The new game modes can be really intense. the online features are smooth; But the lack of weapons and size of the maps are dissapointing.
