It’s a big improvement from battle field one and the story mode is a bit long.

Bought this game after playing BFOne for one year.
It is a great follow-up, with much improved graphics and the same great story mode and multi-player.
I couldn't see any of the glitches earlier players reported, maybe they have been patched by now by DICE?
The gameplay, however, is different, maybe because the weapons are more lethal, with lots of semiautomatic scoped weapons, so I am re-learning to play.
So far, very happy with the game.

I accidentally posted this is the review for the Steel Case, so here's my review again for the game (also, in terms of the Steel Case, the center circle that holds the disc is actually too tight, so that it feels like you're going to break the disc when removing it):
There are a lot of great things about this game. The graphics are gorgeous. The movement is great (crouch running is fantastic and it makes older Battlefields really annoying now) and the gunplay is fun. Much better than Battlefield 4, IMO, which many hold up as some kind of gold standard. Last time I played 4 (a couple weeks ago) it was full of bunny-hoppers zig-zagging everywhere. Lame.
Anyway, the main issue plaguing this game currently is the lack of actual content and a plethora of bugs. Every patch they put out creates 3 new bugs for every bug they actually fix! The new content, such as maps, is coming out at a glacial pace, which is making it hard to stick around.
EA is terrible at Live Service, as evidenced by both Anthem and this game. To do Live Service correctly you need to be in it for the long haul and be willing to commit for YEARS. EA is far more likely to cut and run at the first sign of trouble.

Let me just start off by saying how much I hate EA for scamming the Battlefield fans by already reducing the price of this game by 50% 2 weeks after launch. This just means I am never going to pre-order any BF game again. Oh, and save some money and get the regular version instead of the Deluxe edition unless you really care about outfits and steel book because that is all you get. NO WEAPONS AT ALL (pay to play is EA's modo). Aside from that, the game is amazing. I enjoy playing these games more than COD just because of the maps alone and no quick draw sniper. Online game play is really fun and graphics are great. There are only 2 modes right now that are Breakthrough and Capture the Flag which is very disappointing because it has been out for 2 weeks and yet all the game modes are not ready. Still gave it 5 stars for the game play and graphics.

Battlefield V suffered a bad promo in the beginning but the game shines if you can get past that. The reason I think now the game is held back is a plus-minus effect. Free content is now a major plus in purchasing games there rival COD still charges for a season pass which is becoming archaic. BV has content that should be released now but is held back but that shouldn't deter you the game looks & sounds amazing. The lighting, the sound of snow crunching, blades of grass when you run, the rubble of a crumbling building all this is immersive. A beautiful looking game does also struggle with glitches a common theme with Battlefield games this game has the potential to grow into a good one. A quicker pace also helps it's not as hardcore in the realism mechanic as earlier ones which seems to streamline to include more casual players.

Love the controls and gameplay on this one. There are some bugs but they keep patching. Maps are excellent... wish they would have had Rush at launch but it’s coming free of charge. I’ll be playing this one a while.

This game might not be the best war game but it is still offers good solid action and excellent graphics. I have played a couple of the previous Battlefield games and I really enjoyed them so that’s why I decided to try this one. I got an excellent price and we are totally enjoying playing it. If you have enjoyed the other Battlefield games you wii really enjoy this one as well.

This is a great game for Battlefield fans. All the havoc of previous games is there. Only reason why i don’t give it 5 stars it’s because it needs to correct many glitches and bugs currently in the game. Some weapons need to be calibrated also. Sniper rifles are missing the “One Shot One Kill” feature.

There has been a lot of negative conversation regarding the release of BFV but much of it is unfair.
Yes, the game originally could use more maps, modes and fixing . But after an early update, the game runs beautifully and with the release of more content (all free), BFV will rank as the best of all time.
Why will it be the best? Let me tell you quickly.
1. The gameplay has been refined with better controls/graphics.
2. Sound quality is realistic and guns/vehicles roar to life.
3. Plenty of customizing to soldiers/weapons/vehicles.
4. New, positive game additions such as building and lower ammo capacity will alter the way BF is played in the future

Been waiting for this! Its Battlefield, whats not to like. The campaign missions are fun, entertaining and difficult at times. The multiplayer is classic battlefield. Cant wait till they get the battle royale going.

I like the game and presentation. Unlike the weird cod black ops 4 this year it goes towards more advanced graphics and realism. I just wish they made a modern combat instead of ww2 game. Bad choice by them on that.

Bought the game day 1 and was very happy with gameplay and tides of war and some of the game modes... but then it got old quick. Rush took too long to come and survival mode took forever.

If you love what the battlefield series is, or more realistic shooters, you'll love this game. It's a bit slower pace, but it makes it a less unrealistic experience.

I would give this 3.5 stars, but its either 3 or 4. I do like this game. I like how they switched it up a bit and you fight in the Alps as well as in the Nordic areas (Finland). Its a part of the war that goes largely unrecognized. It is kind of fun to go back to WW2 as well. The game is very similar to BF1 where there are the tides of war single player parts as well as the multiplayer. Be prepared to die quickly as there are a lot of people online, but I did find that by focusing on squad mode more, I had some backup at least some of the time. If you like the BF series, this is a good one to try.

The Battlefield series is by far my favorite FPS. This installment improves upon the Battlefield 1 game play by adding new healing mechanics and fortification to the mix. The game brings back popular modes like conquest and domination as well as old standards like team death match. What's missing is newer trends like battle royale which has been promised by the team over at Dice. I like this edition better than BF1 but long for a different theater of war like southeast Asia or a more modern era. All in all, this entry is a step in the right direction for the series.

For being a hardcore fan to the Battlefield series I can say I do not enjoy this game as much as the others. It's still good, don't get me wrong. It brings new concepts and gameplay to the table but doesn't feel like a full Battlefield experience I'm used to. Maybe it's because I want another modern Battlefield game or because the newer games aren't as fun as they used to be. Regardless the game is constantly updated with new maps and modes. I'd try it out and see if you like the new style of Battlefield.

Excellent graphics, sound, and gameplay. There are some bugs, mainly loading main menu after matches, but generally fine.
