I've always been a fan of ww2 games, and when I found out bf was going back to ww2, I was pretty stoked about it since BF1 was pretty good. I've been playing this game none stop and so far I love it. Battlefield games has always been my go to fps over call of duty. My only issue with BFV is that it does kind of feel incomplete. I was hoping you could add like attachments other than a scope to your weapon but they are all just for cosmetics which I don't really care about. Overall the gameplay is fun and that's all that really matters.

If you're a fan of Battlefield, you're going to enjoy this game. It has all the fun Battlefield moments you know and love. But it's hard to recommend it to any new comers. Single player is alright, the multiplayer is a bit buggy, but the large scale battles are still a ton of fun! Especially with a group of friends in your squad.

I'm a long time Battlefield fan. After all the stuff EA has been pulling off recently I didn't have my hopes high up for this game, however it turned out to be better than I expected.
As with most AAA games nowadays, and with EAs approach of "games as a service", BFV needs time to "mature" and become a full fledged offering.

Regarding the game itself, your mileage may vary. This is not for everyone. There are those players who prefer fast-paced action, running all over the map, shooting down people (or getting shot), respawning, and then going thru the same cycle again. If you are that type of player, you would not like this and would maybe prefer Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer. The maps there are small and designed for death matches and fast kills.
In Battlefield V, this is more team-based and objective driven. The maps can sometimes be so big that you find yourself running from one objective to another without encountering an enemy and wishing you got a vehicle instead. It has its pros and cons.
If you're the type who likes to think, strategize, find the right hiding and camping places, and even camp sniping, then this game can be for you.
The large maps have its cons though, sometimes you find yourself running around and just getting one-shot killed by a sniper from very far away.
It's definitely a lot easier and 'fun" to play in PC than in console. I bought this too for xBox One X, but never even got to play past the 3rd mission. I suck big time with using console controllers, I just can't aim fast enough with my thumb.
So there, if you like World War 2 settings with older weapons, then you may just like this. I for one do. I alternate playing between COD4 and BF5, and the change of scenery and gameplay can be refreshing from time to time.

I bought this game as a I was fortunate to get one of the new RTX 3080 GPUs and I wanted a game that uses the raytracing technology. This game looks great however it does not mean that the game is a great game. I hate how you have to endure the over done cinematics before starting a level it gets very old very fast. The controls on this game are also very clunky for a game released with the last 4+ years. I would recommend another game but this is just my opinion. If you can get the game on sales and for a good price like I did then definitely pick it up otherwise pass on this DICE title.

This game was fun for just a short while. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the single player is a rich, albeit short experience. Recommend for single player if you can get this on sale.

Little by little I find myself playing Battlefield instead of my go to game Fifa, while not much seems to have changed from Battlefield 4. I will say it's just as fun as the last one, compared to Call of duty I would go with Battlefield this time around.

Battlefield V - Good game, short SP

So just to be upfront, I DO NOT play multiplayer games and/or multiplayer modes of first-person shooters. (And I don’t play third-person shooters at all.) Battlefield V does have a single-player (SP) mode and it’s fun. The graphics are excellent (GTX1070, 1920x1080, Ultra settings) and the configurable levels (easy through very hard) make the game challenging. But the SP levels are too short, and that’s a shame. I’d love to upgrade to an RTX2080 to see live ray-tracing in action, but until more games support ray-tracing and DLSS - and the RTX cards come down to more affordable prices, I’ll stick with playing Battlefield V as-is. Which is still excellent.

Pretty good Battlefield game and I think it will be even better after some needed patches and rebalancing of some of the vehicles/aircraft. Very fun overall, I am happy to have purchased. Get it on sale and you'll have plenty of fun.
