For the avid Family Guy fan, you will have the added pleasure of all the inside jokes and references. For the avid Star Wars fan, ditto. These guys must have a blast coming up with these scripts and like the first parody, "Blue Harvest", the sci-fi animation is, pardon the pun, light years ahead of their weekly show. Any die-hard fan will welcome this new installment in the Star Wars parodies into their collection. However, those who have never seen Star Wars or Family Guy (perish the thought) might not see what all the fuss is about. But then again, who cares what they think. Peace

Family Guy Something Something Something Dark Side on Blu-ray is a great follow up to the original Family Guy Blue Harvest. The movie itself was hilarious, and all of us who watched it were laughing aloud often. There were plenty of special features on the disc that will be enjoyable to watch once we get to them, and you just can't beat the price to get the movie on Blu-ray in addition to the lunch box and t-shirt. Highly recommended!

Over all, a great addition to the original...it left a lot to be desired of the second addition to the saga. However, it was middling for the most part, brilliant for about a 1/4. The lines are clever and the artwork is always impressive. Most of the plot could be revamped a bit. I wasn't dissatisfied, but there was a lot of hype leading up to the release of the second Fam/Star Wars. Maybe it'll be better on the second watch. I know the first is like wine and gets better with age.

Continuing the Star Wars saga after Blue Harvest, Something Something Something Darkside picks up with the Griffin's experiencing another blackout. Luckily, Peter is convinced to continue the Star Wars story. The homages and jokes/gag's are hilarious. For those who enjoy Family Guy, Star Wars, or Blue Harvest; this video is a must have.

I said what I thought about it above... :) i love Star Wars and I love Family Guy and if you look at what is great about it and what's not so great about it, you'll see how I feel. Hope this helps!!

My son collects Star Wars and he loves Family Guy. What more could I have asked for. The version with the "Pop-up Video" information is also fun to watch.

Loved the T-shirt and lunchbox and was excited about the movie, me and my husband are huge fans of both star wars and family guy, but we dont have a blue ray player!!! The discription and title says dvd and even the format says dvd, there is a huge difference between dvd and blue ray formats! This is a pretty big error on best buy and the only reason I gave it three stars is because the T-shirt was kick-a@@!! The only thing that salvaged this gift was that it came with a digital copy, but watching it on the computer is not the same when you have a big screen tv.

If you like Family Guy and The Empire Strikes Back you'll probably love this. It isn't as funny as Blue Harvest, but it came on blu-ray and come with a t-shirt and lunch box.

If you're selling a Blu-Ray, it should be listed as a Blu-Ray, not a DVD. Otherwise, it's great!
