A good quality piece of furniture. I put my sound bar in the top closure in the beginning my remote would work through cloth mesh. Now I have to keep the door down to control the sound bar with the remote. .

I see no reason the unit could not have been pre=assembled. It would have taken up no more shipping space and was fairly expensive to begin with.
