Good headphones if you're looking for a wired set. Was good for cutting out outside noise. It lasted all deployment. A screw fell out once, but just had to retighten it.

These headphones are good for the price. I received them as a gift and am enjoying them. They allow me to "tune out" the world.

I had been curious about Beats headphones for some time now. I like that these are wired (so no downtime for charging). Has a mic and remote that works with my phone. I have used them for music and for gaming. They feel fairly comfortable over long periods (and I do have a larger head). The sound blocking is pretty decent just from the earcups against the ears. The sound is good, they are a little bass heavy, which is lost sometimes with some types of over the ear sets. The thing is, I got these for a radiculous cheap price on sale. I'm glad I did, because even though they sound good, I'm not sure the level of sound quality justifies the price tag at full asking price.

I never considered myself part of the "Beats demographic". I don't like overly bass-y music (except for some Underworld now and again) or equipment that is voiced that way. Anyway, after reading a few reviews on these 'phones, I decided to pull the trigger...and the price was nice too. So far, I'm really happy with the sound quality. I have an EQ app on my iPhone, so I can dial-down the bass if I want. The sound is full and rich, and the bass is punchy. Build quality is first-rate. My only quibble...the ear-pads can get a little uncomfortable after a few hours of listening. I haven't had on-ear headphones for a LONG time, so maybe they all cause fatigue eventually. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Much better value than Solo3, wish cable detached

I did a review on Solo3, wish they still had an option for wired and not made you pay for the wireless ones. Anyway, the only new wired and "affordable" option are the EPs. I personally like the streamline design, the headband feel strong and flexible when twisted. Might even be more sturdy than the Solo line because of this. However, the biggest issue I have is the cable is not removable. Why?!? Guess not a huge deal, but if mic breaks on the cable (which happens A LOT), I would like to be able to simply replace a cable and not the whole headphones or go without. Sound is pretty good to, close to if not on par with the Solo line. However, even though I kind of like the design, my daughters and their friends do not and call them cheap. While they are less then the other more overpriced lines of Beats, $80-$120 is not a cheap. Being Beats, they are still overpriced. However, being the only wired set you can currently but (excluding earbuds), they are the best value Beats has.

These Beats EP headphones are great for my kids. The fit is great, not too tight and not too lose. The sound doesn't go as loud as I'd like, but the bass is superb. They build quality is great, they feel solid, but also are lightweight. There are not many better headphones at this price range.

Beats by Dr. Dre - EP Headphones are a good buy

I've purchased at least 6 of the Beats by Dr. Dre - Beats EP Headphones. My grandchildren have a propensity of damaging them (sometimes thru no fault of their own) and I end up buying another pair for them or myself. The sound quality is fairly good but not outstanding. The main issue is that the wire running from the headphones to the audio jack are too thin and normal wear and tear appear to break the cable. I've purchased several pair for my grand kids because of that issue. The Beats EP Headphones are comfortable and feel pretty good on my ears and I can wear them for a prolonged period of time with no discomfort. Would I buy another pair? I just did a few days ago!

These Beat headphones are good, the price was amazing and I couldn't turn it down! I like the plug in, cause it saves on my battery vs the Bluetooth version. There comfortable and blocks outside noise. I would have given them a 5 star, but the don't fully cover my ears.

I bought these for my 9 year old daughter and they are perfect for her. They are not as expensive as the other Beats, but I'd say the quality is just the same. The only drawbacks are they are not wireless and they do not fold up, but for $99 they do the job!

Was resistant at first but eventually purchased for oldest daughter. Surprised by sound quality and comfortable fit. Great headphones worth the cost. Only negative is that the cord is not removable like the other beats products.

Of course it's Beats so you're going to get excellent sound quality. Good bass, strong mids and crystal clear highs. Headphones are comfortable to wear and have a solid build. Best "wired" headphones available for under $100.

I needed over the ear headphones for an internship that I was doing. The price was great and the quality is very good. After two months, they seem very sturdy and there is a built-in microphone.

These are going to do everything you would need from a set of headphones. I believe compared to most headphones it is a very good quality and you can peice apart the sounds a little better such as the drums and the guitars to a song seems to stick out a little bit better. The fact that they are on ear and not over ear can be a little annoying. I use mine for radio work and wear them for significant amounts of time and it makes my ears a little sore. They are expensive and I got mine when they were on a good sale below 100. If you can get it on sale and want something that's gonna last. I'd recommend it.

Sound is fantastic, however the fit takes a few times to get used to. Ears get sore the first few times until you either get used to it or it molds to your ears. Also, I may get the wireless version as the wire does get on the way. Overall a good product
