My family have loved how Disney is transforming its classics to real-life movies. The special effects were great. The original was my first movie that I have ever seen in the movie theater. I was so glad to be able to take my daughter to see this one. Now because we saw it in theaters, we have to own it!

Who hasn’t seen the animated version. Well this just takes it to another level and the graphics are tremendous awesome. Fun for the whole family.

I have always liked this story. I was thrilled to see it with living people. Love the way they made Mrs Potts, Chip and the rest. I real work of art!

This is a great rendition of a timeless classic brought to life! Disney did a fantastic job of recreating everything about Beauty and the Beast!

I was hesitant about this movie because the animated movies are usually better. This movie turned out to he really good. I highly recommend it.

Great, well done modern twist on an old Disney classic. Digital copy is great for adding to your iPad or computer and bringing it with you!

We love Disney's animated Beauty and the Beast but they really outdid themselves with this remake. It really is a spectacular and enjoyable movie.

I love this movie as much as the animated version. Not every Disney animated movie translates well to live action but I thought this one did.

This was beautiful made ,the actors all fit the parts ,it’s well made a lot of fun if you love DISNEY you won’t be disappointed that’s for sure.

I truly think this is just as good as the original! They added a few things but we love it! Definitely worth watching! The acting is great!!

Not a huge fan of Disney remakes…. Just get new ideas, however I will say this one is better than average

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST DOES RIGHT BY ITS PREDECESSOR, DELIVERING A MUSICAL EXPERIENCE THAT BOTH DAZZLES THE EYES AND PLUCKS THE HEARTSTRINGS.

This was a 1-to-1 version of the original but it is so well made that I was astonished. It really made a fairy tale come to life.

Absolutly fell in love with the movie when I saw it love that I actually found the regular DVD version ! Every other store only had blu ray

We just happened to go see the play. Then to watch it in movie form. Was awesome. Well made movie. Wish some older songs were in it.

This movie has a good amount of drama and fun along with a few new songs. It follows the original story that is a classic.

Wonderful Disney movie. Compared to animated version some singing voices better, some not as good, but overall a great family picture.

Beauty and the Beast exemplifies the risks and rewards of these films. Comparison to the established treasures is unavoidable, and in the case of Beauty and the Beast the magnification seems extended. While the film gets plenty right, parts of it feel off-balance, whether some of the needless (but certainly interesting) probing into some of the background elements or the manner in which the various servants, never mind the Beast himself, appear and participate in the film. The complex digital work just doesn't lend itself all that well to the animated version's simplistic charms and ability to draw the viewer into a fantastical realm of fairy tale make-believe. If anything this version feels too real, and that comes at the cost of the story's depth and whimsical spirit. It's also too unfocused, trying at once to satisfy purists, expand the story, and dazzle with its visual effects to the point that the end result is more spectacle and less heartfelt love story; the animated film balanced those qualities perfectly. It's a good movie in all of those areas, but it's the first of the live-action Disney films where the animated films remains the clear-cut superior. The Blu-ray is unsurprisingly terrific, featuring world-class 1080p video and 7.1-channel lossless audio. Supplements are fine though nothing remarkable. Recommended.

i love this movie. it's a movie i watch over and over with or without my grandkids. i laughed and cried while watching this.
