    Looked like what we needed to connect two monitors to a laptop, but it was display port not mini-display port so didn't work with a Mac.

    Wanted to use with my lenovo laptop docking station, absolutely nothing worked. A friend loaned me the same device by a different maker, worked immediately, so I bought one. Called the customer service, and they were as useless as the device. Now I have a useless device, and I am out my money

    I purchased this because I needed an ACTIVE adaptor to enable me to connect a third monitor to my computer. And it does meet that requirement... sort of. I have the monitor working but any time the computer goes into sleep mode, this device seems to shut down. The only way to get it to work again is to unplug the HDMI cable from it and plug it back on. This is not what I want and the Belkin support site doesn't even acknowledge that this product exists.
