As long as the laptop supports this connectivity, it should work fine with this Belkin adapter. I have wasted time and money on this. So irritating and where I live not possible to return. Best Buy you have let me down.

Tried many times to use this adapter, but it just did not work correctly.

Therefore, the screen stayed black. It should have worked in my opinion.
