This is a nice boombox - makes your XM easily portable. Reception is very good, even inside the interior of my house (i.e., not situated at a south window). Sound quality is also quite good, and the controls & remote are simple to use. It's a little large (about the size of a "standard" AM/FM/CD/cass boombox); the "retro" look of the unit actually looks better in person than in photos on the web. No complaints with the product, although I would like to see the price drop as this model has been on the market for a while now.

Great sound. Portable. Fun for tailgates. However, if you are in a three or four story apartment and not on the top floor - forget it. You'll need a southern view of the sky too, especially if trying to listen to it inside an apartment. If you don't have to worry aboout apartment levels above you or you know you have an unobstructed view of the southern sky, you'll like the unit.... something to consider before spending the coin, I think anyway.

Great sound quality. Great battery life. You cant loose the signal. The antenna that is on the boom box is great! Its also very loud which is great and the base it great too!
