I needed to connect to an HDMI screen using a dvi input. The adapter did not support dvi - HDMI even though my cable supports it. The USB c cable was also very very short.

Thank you for your feedback. The adapter can only support one display at a time and can be used with either of the following:
- DisplayPort supports HDCP 1.3
- HDMI supports HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.2
- VGA does not support HDCP
- DVI supports HDCP 1.4

Malfunction in windows

The monitor plugged in only showed a black screen. Tried to follow steps for troubleshooting in windows but it said to update drivers, it never worked. Returning

This shouldn't be the case since the adapter is designed for MAC and Windows laptops utilizing video-enabled USB-C port. If you'd allow us, we want to look into this further.
