Good for its price

I had some issues with the tray warping and bending, probably due to uneven heat distribution, but other than that does its job fine.

Good luck trying to not burn every single thing you put in this thing. Honestly you're better off putting your toast straight into the garbage, save yourself the time. Seriously, you actually have to stand next to it constantly watching whatever you put in there to see if it doesn't just suddenly burn. Currently typing this after burning yet another 2 pieces of toast that somehow manage to also have not toasted sections right next to completely burnt one's!

Is it suppose to be smoking?

You get what you pay for.
