It'll toast, but not evenly.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't expect much from a $35 toaster oven, but I just needed a quick replacement for the one I was giving away to a house fire victim. It's not the greatest, but it pretty much does what I want it to. The bottom heating element seems to get hotter than the top so even with the rack in the highest position possible, the bottom of the bread ends up darker than the top. And heat doesn't seem to be distributed evenly in the oven because one half of the top side will be darkening while the other half hasn't even started turning, so I find myself turning the bread or even flipping it for more even toasting. I've used it to reheat pizza, using the included pan, and for reheating food or making a cheesy bread, it works well enough. Basically it works in a pinch, but next time I'll be spending more on a toaster oven, unfortunately.

Fast to cook; fast to burn
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It makes toast quick; 2 minutes vs. 3.5 in my toaster for same level of brown/crisp. HOWEVER, as was noted in another review I saw somewhere, this could substitute as a pellet stove. I gets so hot, on all sides, it will scald you immediately. It even noticeably radiates heat 18" beyond itself. Since I would have used it to make toast 90% of the time, its extra versatility is not worth the injury risk. And its just not worth the WORRY of burning and fire. Sorry Bella:( I am going back to my old GE toaster.

Returned this product (Fire Danger)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased one of these Bella toaster ovens a few months back and returned it because the exterior of this small oven gets extremely hot, I'm pretty sure you could fry an egg on it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Dangerous sharp inside bottom
