I only tried using this to slow cook steak while at work. I was not able to adjust ++the temperature to "low" as with a slow cooker. I was not satisfied with how my food turned out. It cooked on high the entire time. The liquid cooked out. I have not used any other functions

Takes too long to heat up for searing and gets too hot for slow cooking. No temperature setting for slow cooking. Not for those of us that wants to set and leave to cook all day. All the liquid will boil off by the time you're back from work.

I bought it for a slow cooking however it doesn’t slow cook at all. It burns your food when you’re trying to slow cook. Steaming is perfect, but that’s not what I bought it for. If I could return it, I would I get rid of the box that it came in And I’ve had it for two weeks now.

I used this two times. After washing it the second time I thought I missed food, but I realized small patches of the metal dish/bowl had corroded already and I was looking at rust. Can’t cook food in that!

Even on low setting tends to get too hot and burns the cook.
