Makes great toast. Evenly toasted. Toast bread then make a grilled cheese with it. It’s great

Three days after my return period the Cancel button imprint started disappearing with every touch. See picture. Best buy wouldn't let me exchange it. Not cool!

Pick a button, take a guess what it does? That is what I do now after owning this for roughly 3 months now that the button labels have “wiped” off completely. Was “Cancel, Defrost, Bagel”.

This toaster is simply the best and here's why: it looks sleek and cute, while it does the job exceptionally. The turn knob for selecting the level for toasting is so easy to use, but just be careful because it's powerful. Start on a lower setting to get s good feel of how each setting will toast your food. Also this is AMAZING with bagels! The slots are super wide and deep for bagels and even frozen french toast which is what I did. The added bonus is that it looks so good in my kitchen as well. Modern looking and doesn't take up too much space --- such a winner.

A toaster that looks like it's designed for the modern kitchen...this one aches to resemble a "smart" appliance with its slick touch-screen and digital readout, but those farkles are mostly just for show. Underneath, there's a decent toaster with quick heating, simple (if somewhat misleading at times) controls, but with relatively "thin" build quality. First, for the good stuff--it's a toaster, it does what it should and does it pretty quickly. There are basically 4 settings--Toast, Bagel, Defrost, and Reheat, with a dial featuring settings 1-7 that gives you a rough idea of browning/crisping/toasting level. The bottom has slots for cord wrapping to keep a long electrical pigtail off your countertop and a hidden, slide-out rear crumb drawer makes cleanup of long-term accumulation a snap. The push-down/high-lift lever feels solid enough and works to activate the toaster easily or manually raises your bread, muffins, Pop-Tarts or bagels another inch or so--enough to grab the edges without ripping off the ends. The slots are W-I-D-E and easily accommodate thick bagels or chunky sections of a home-made bread loaf. The colorway has a nice, modern appearance with a stainless steel finish on the sides, chrome up top, chrome accents on the browning dial and lifter knob, and white LEDs and white lettering against a black touch-screen display. I've tried to provide a few images of the toasting levels in this review--honestly, anything above Setting 4 and your bread is probably going to be a charcoal briquette. Setting 2 was perfect for the way I like my bagels (sorry, wasn't going high enough to torch my everything bagels just for show). The "Reheat" setting at the bottom end of the dial control provides an additional 40 seconds of heating...it's designed to do so without additional browning and we found that to be true. The Defrost button is used for frozen items while the Bagel setting is obviously for thicker bagels and muffins (though the TIME the items actually spend browning, which is displayed in big numbers on the touch screen, is the same regardless of which button you press, so I can only assume that pressing the DEFROST or BAGEL buttons changes the temperature of the heating elements). The CANCEL button obviously cancels any job in the toaster at the time and immediately shoots the toast or bagels up to the top--sadly, the Bella Pro doesn't offer enough exit velocity to arc your bread out onto a nearby plate--maybe on the next release?! :-) There are a few areas where things fall maybe just a bit short from where we had hoped. First, the size and thickness of the toaster is just a tad deceptive as it would have you believe you're going to be hoisting a small cinder-block onto your countertop; but it's incredibly light, almost a little TOO light--it's not necessarily cheap-feeling so much as it's just "thin"...it's not clear how much punishment it will take in your kitchen over the years ahead. The touch screen buttons worked mostly okay for us, but we had a little trouble on more than one occasion finding the sweet spot to activate the BAGEL button or CANCEL to stop a toasting job. Overall, the touch-sensitive button area seems pretty small and tightly spaced--the controls could maybe use just a bit more real-estate on the touch screen to provide a little more reassuring action. The stainless finish is a fingerprint magnet to be sure (picture attached after just a few uses), and because it's so light, you almost can't operate it without putting your hands on the toaster itself so it's hard to keep it looking nice without extra effort after almost every use. The top is also very "thin feeling" with that chromed metal getting awfully hot immediately after toasting--while this is true of most toasters, because this one works so well/quickly, the top tends to stay a bit hotter for a bit longer than our last unit. Sadly, the silk-screen lettering on the buttons feels chintzy and we can already see a few spots where a couple of letters in the CANCEL button are starting to wear off after just a week of use. Finally, the timer readout really IS nice because it displays the time left on the current job so you ALWAYS know if you have enough time to grab the juice or butter before the job is finished. But the continuous dial creates a sense of precision that isn't there...Setting 3 is 2:00, Setting 4 is 2:25...but setting 3 1/2 is still 2:00, but sometimes it's 2:25 depending on where the dial lands, but it's never 2:14, or 2:21, for example. It's not a big deal to be sure, but it makes me wonder why they bothered with a dial at all given that you can't adjust the cooking time exactly to your liking anyway...just give us full touch screen controls for each of the cooking levels and then the only thing cluttering up the front would be the toast lever/lifter knob. Still, these issues aside, we like the toaster well enough to keep it--it looks nice and matches the style of our other more modern kitchen appliances and the toasting performance is pretty darned good. The digital readout is a nice touch over other toasters that lack any kind of display, though honestly the touch-screen buttons really don't add anything to the functionality, and in some ways even make it a little clumsier and less responsive to use than physical buttons would. Definitely give it a spin for the cooking/toasting performance, but I don't think the touch-screen controls are a big enough selling factor to warrant a purchase on their own.

This toaster looks really good when it’s clean the stainless steel might get dirty a little faster but nothing a good wiping can’t take care of. I usually put bread and bagel in but nothing as far as reheating I don’t use the defrosting function. The buttons are easy to see the digital light is strong and its easy to clean with removable chrome tray. That part is the best helps keep the bottom area free from nasty old food. Looks good and works great I like it.

This toaster is great. It has a digital countdown timer so you know how long it will toast your bread. Great for bagels and has a setting for it. It also has a easy to pull out and clean toaster crumb tray at the bottom. Very simple to operate. It also has 3 touchscreen buttons (cancel, bagel & defrost) buttons but it doesnt sense your finger to well so it could be frustrating. Overall great toaster and i got it on sale for a unbelievable price. Thank You!

Simple to use and I never realized a timer on a toaster is a must have and it toasted my begals evenly. The best thing is the look of it. Our old poster used to sit in a cabinet, this one hangs out next to our coffee machine lol

The toaster is great and makes the perfect set of toast and bagels. I love the frozen option to heat frozen bread and I LOVE the bottom tray that pulls out to clean the bottom of the toaster. I recommend this to everyone because it so sleek and easy to use.

It's a pretty basic toaster. Lots of fingerprints on the stainless, and the cancel button is definitely hit or miss in terms of function. Overall, I'd say average. It looks sleek and the digital timer is nice.

I had my previous toaster for many many years. It sort of didn't fit in my decor anymore, and I recycled my old one and provided it to a neighbor and purchased this one. I like the digital timer countdown and the quality if consistent.
