Do not buy

So upset I had a perfectly good insignia air fryer that got recalled they gave us a gift card but then never put any of the good air fryers on sale. Broke down and bought this thing and it’s a dud.

Chemical smell & taste

The manual does state that this is normal during the first couple of uses. And think about that for a minute...so what haz residue is in the fryer to begin with that is vaporizing onto the food and your kitchen. I have used this fryer at least 5 times- smell still strong and cooked foods have an odd taste.
