So I’m obsessed with espresso and cappuccino so this was an exciting thing for me to get. Unfortunately, my excitement was severely tamed once I opened it up. The overall construction of this thing I severely lacking in all aspects. Lots of cheap materials and you can feel them once you pick this machine up. That being said as far as counter space this thing is slim and minimal but I just wish it had a little more premium feel to go with the rest of my kitchen gadgets I have out. Now I have espresso pods I picked up and brought home from Italy and they are good. Once I changed out the original pod holder it fit my pod perfect. Then went to make a single espresso and man did it come out bad. Completely watered down and not what I was expecting at all. I then proceeded to try a few more times each time a different result as far as water coming out. I made a cappuccino and the milk froth worked fine on it. Steamed milk as it should but adding a watered down espresso kinda kills the whole vibe and taste. All in all this one’s a disappointment

For the price of the espresso machine it does a decent job overall, it is very light weight so when you take off the handle you have to hold down the machine otherwise it will move around which is a little inconvenient. I would recommend it to anyone that’s trying espresso machines for the first time.

I bought this espresso machine for my girlfriend and I to try and curb our dependence on Starbucks. We have loved our experience so far and can confidently say we do not miss Starbs. THAT BEING SAID, setting up this machine does require some WORK, TIME, and PATIENCE. The instructions that come included are not great, but the comments/reviews found on Bestbuy proved to be the most help. HERE ARE SOME TIPS I CAN PROVIDE IN CASE YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH THE SET UP: 1) during inital set up, in order to get enough water into the machine to pull your very first shot/prime the steam wand, you must unplug and plug in the water tank ~100 times. Each time you do this you will notice small air bubbles travel from the bottom of the water tank to the top. I Started with a full water tank and did this 100 times, just to be sure. 2) you can reprogram how much water you would like dispensed per shot. Once you hit the button for 1 shot or 2 shots, hold the button until you get the desired amount of volume dispensed. This is crucial for “dailing in your espresso”. 3) invest in some proper tools; a coffee weight scale (amazon, less than $20), espresso distribution tool (amazon), 51 mm espresso Tamper (amazon), and a milk frother thermometer (amazon), grinder (optional because Starbucks will grind your espresso for you when buying it BUT fresh ground espresso tastes alot better). I purchased this espresso machine for 40% off in a lighting deal and used the difference to purchase these tools and geek squad protection. The tools make such a big difference and to help dial in the espresso, I also used videos from James Hoffmann on YouTube which helped me alot. OVERALL, I am extremely happy with this espresso machine! It is a solid entry into the espresso machine world (under $200) and can produce good espresso for the average coffee drinker. The machine requires work and time to build your barista skills but the results have been wonderful! :)

This is a review regarding my experience trying to buy this product and the issues I had in doing so. This affected my ability to actually enjoy the product, so I felt it was relevant. Buyers should beware the policies Best Buy has in place regarding erroneously canceling orders that heavily favor Best Buy, and not the customer. If possible, I would recommend buying from Amazon a similar product as Best Buy does not stand behind their customers in many situations.
It's rare that I leave a review on Google, even more so a negative review on a place that I frequent often. However, the latest experience I had at the Okemos, MI Best Buy is the worst example of customer experience and a broken system that I have experienced. I'll leave the detailed breakdown, with proof below, but the gist of it is this in case you don't want to read the whole review: Best Buy erroneously canceled my paid-for, pickup order,
and the manager Brandon tried to tell me it was my fault, and offered me either the option to buy it again at 2x the price of which I originally paid, or call the best Buy help line (while I was standing in Best Buy with the staff). All while the espresso machines were sitting in front of me.
I bought the two products on July 23rd. They were bought during a deal of the day promotion and set for pickup at the Best Buy in Okemos, MI. I knew I couldn't make the original deadline, so I extended the deadline to August 9th on July 29th, receiving an email confirmation that this extension was successful. On August 2nd, I received a notification that my order had been cancelled, with the stated reason being that I failed to pick up the order by August 9th.
On August 3rd, I went into the store with my father to talk with the Best Buy guys and pickup the espresso machines as I figured this was an obvious mistake on Best Buy's behalf. However, after two different Best Buy guys realized they weren't going to be able to get anywhere, they called in their manager Brandon. After approximately a one minute assessment and conversation with his colleague, Brandon came to the conclusion that there was nothing they can do because the order was cancelled, and because we bought our products during a "deal of the day" promotion, they could no longer sell us the products at the price we originally paid for them. So Best Buy can price match a long list of other companies, but in the event they cancel your order on accident, apparently they can't price match themselves.
Brandon offered us two options at this point: buy the products again for 2x the price of what I paid, or call the Best Buy 1-888 number and try to fix it myself. After lots of prodding about the nonsensical nature of making your customer try to sort out a company problem, Brandon decided to order his Best Buy subordinate to call their internal help line, after which the help line told our Okemos worker that this was an Okemos Best Buy problem.
After some back and forth discussion trying to understand how there was nothing that could be done, Brandon then said some additional things that didn't sit well with me.
1.) When this happens, it's usually the fault of the customer, such as their credit card declining the order. Well, we checked and Best Buy had refunded the cost of the machines back to our credit balance AFTER our order was canceled, meaning that Best Buy received the money, and it was Best Buy that sent it back.
2.) The reason that there is no override for this situation is to prevent customers from abusing loopholes. Ok, well that's a bit of a blunt thing to state to a customer that had done nothing wrong. After re-explaining this concept to Brandon that I was not exploiting the store in any way, he conceded that I was right.
Brandon then told me again there's nothing he can do and left. I called the help line, waited 20 minutes on hold after talking to a representative, after which he hung up on me and that was the end of that. After about an hour and a half, I walked out of the store with an hour and a half of my life gone that I could not get back, and without the espresso machines I had purchased and tried to pick up on time.
On the bright side, I had a pleasant conversation with Eduardo, who had previously led me to completing significant work with Geek Squad, and the other manager Samuel V., who was very apologetic and kind and competent, which probably explains why he was promoted to help manage a different store and our other manager was not.

I have not yet used it yet, but when I opened the box to check it out, I noticed the top to the water reservoir was broken and the little plastic piece was sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. The machine overall is modern and sleek looking. It is small enough so it does not take up much space on my counter. I’m excited to put it to use.

I was nervous this would not make a good shot, but i was pleasantly suprised. It vibrates a lot when working and its so light that the entire machine moves when setting the attachment. It comes with an espresso tamp, albeit nothing special, so you ahould be all set to start your first espresso right out of the box.

Loving my new espresso machine. I thought having to take extra steps to brew a coffee was going to be tedious, but after I enjoyed that first one, I fell in love. I normally brew two straight shots in the morning and a cappuccino in the afternoon. If you are looking for a starter machine, do yourself a favor, and buy this one.

I purchased the Bella Slim Espresso machine and have used for about three weeks. The Machine looks nice and does make a really good expresso. The size is very small and does require very short cups (standard coffee mug will not fit). Also note I'm not sure you could use two cups as shown for double, but if you want a little more in one cup the double works great.
It has two options for the espresso shots single or double. The double shot size is configurable by holding the button while the brewing until you reach the desired size. Based on other comments, I think this has confused others as they have stated it doesn't work as expected. If you hold for only a few seconds, it will program to make a very small amount of coffee (or none) so make sure to hold until desired size (up to about 5 oz). I have tested the steam and water options but have not really used at this point.
Note on 5 stars for Value, I purchased on sale about half the price which really did make a great "deal" for this Machine.
