I was excited to try out a new graphics card until I realized my old monitor was only vga. Got this and problem solved. Easy to screw in the vga cable and plug into the hdmi port of my gpu. Great price too.

My mother needed this converter in a hurry to get a projector working when the USB ports failed to work property. Plugged the HDMI into the laptop and the VGA port into the Projector and it worked flawlessly the first time. Being able to find it in a physical store was also a big help.

I have purchased a Hewlett Packard all in one desk top computer. I love it! It is so refreshing to not have my desk covered with computer equipment and cords. I love the sleek design, and it seems to be pretty user friendly. I am older and electronics are often very challenging for me. When I made this purchase the sales staff was very accommodating. They informed me that I had insurance with the Geek Squad, and that I could have the information taken from my old desk top and put on to my new computer at no charge. It has been a very pleasant experience shopping at Best Buy, they will match prices and you have resources after you purchase a product. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you Best Buy for a great shopping experience.

Easy plug-and-play connection. I used it to connect a newer system to an older VGA monitor I had laying around.
