Best Buy Plus is a great way to earn rewards

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WE have purchased a lot of replacement appliances and TVS this year and the Plus membership allows you to gather points that help reduce the final price you pay. The only caveat is that you have two months to use the points or you lose them. In our case it worked on the TV, washer and dryer and new sound bar we bought. The best part of Best Buy is their amazing staff. Charlie Reynold the Manager at the Best Buy In Georgetown TX is wonderful to work with and makes the buying process easy to do and stress free. Great team at our Best Buy

The membership is amazing!

Both membership give you exclusive sales on items that most other memberships don't do. On the topic of sales, sometimes I noticed that the membership gives you early access to some products AND sales which makes it pretty worth it to me! I ordered myself a few items online a few weeks ago, and i love the fact that the shipping is very fast. Normally, compared to companies such as Amazon, you'll have to pay usually 10 dollars for shipping alone, AND sadly, you'll have to wait a week for your product to even arrive (That's if you dont have Amazon prime.) but unlike Best Buy, you'll normally have to wait 2 days for your product to come, making it totally worth it for me, and you don't have to pay for shipping! If you're a frequent shopper, i totally recommend getting the Best Buy plus membership, since it comes with many other features that I stated and more!

The biggest advantage is the peace of mind it offers. It includes protection on multiple products, tech support, and services like installation or setup, which is very helpful if you buy electronics frequently. The access to specialized support is fast and efficient, which really makes a difference compared to not having the plan. It’s especially worth it if you tend to purchase several devices a year, since the added coverage can save you money on repairs or replacements. There are also occasional member-exclusive deals that can help offset the cost of the subscription. That said, it’s not perfect. The price can feel a bit high if you don’t fully use the benefits, and some of the protection terms have fine print that you should read carefully. It’s not essential for everyone, especially if you only shop there occasionally. Overall, I would recommend Best Buy’s Premium subscription to people who regularly buy tech and want extra protection and support. For more casual shoppers, it may not be as necessary.

The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide selection of electronics and accessories. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions without being pushy. The checkout process was quick and hassle-free, and I was able to find exactly what I needed at a competitive price. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and the excellent customer service. Membership Paid for on First Purchase - No Brainer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whenever I am asked to pay to get savings I have to stop and look carefully at what I'm being offered. Most of the time I'm someplace I'll never come back to and I want the discount on my one purchase, most likely because I will never return to that store. But this is Best Buy, and let's face it, I'm going to end up dropping money here more often than I probably should. For 50 dollars a year, the Best Buy Plus membership is not a bad deal. It was paid for out of my first purchase of a MacBook where I saved 50 dollars because of the membership (so it was "free"). So now for the year, I get access to certain items with an extra discount which is nice. But there is more!!! Once I looked over the dashboard (yes, you get your own dashboard) there are a few more perks that come with the membership: 1. There is an assortment of free trials for decent amounts of time that you can dip into. 2. You get 60 days instead of 30 days to return things, so try and buy to your heart's content (you break it you buy it) 3. I'm impatient when it comes to shipping. If I'm laying to some good money I want my product immediately. But we all know everything isn't in stock, so two-day free shipping is a perk, not bad, and on part with Amazon Prime. 4. There is also a rewards point thing that you get discounts and rewards depending on how much you spend, and that brings us to the bad part. Now the only thing that I don't like about the membership (and it probably isn't even their fault, I'm sure it is some arrangement with Apple) is that those points that you get, well, you don't get them on Apple products (and where does most my money go?) so for all the money I spend on Apple Products they don't reward me for the future. Beyond that, I have nothing bad to say, especially since it was at no additional cost in my case. Oh, and don't forget, for like 130 dollars more you can get the tech support and warranty package which does include Apple Care+ so that looks like a great value also.

Rock solid value and customer care

After becoming a regular best buy customer for my personal and business tech shopping I can't say enough good things about it. I have had complications with products and tons of returns and drama and the best buy staff treated me wonderfully the whole way. From helping me shop to refunding the difference to me when the prices go on sale it's a heck of a good membership if you use a lot of tech. Plus I don't have to contact the manufacturers most of the time. Best buy had me covered with replacements and last minute sourcing of low stock items near and far. Long return windows and insurance options for sensitive hardware. Cash back on purchases I could go on but best buy isnt paying me lol. You get the idea. Good service.

Worth it but ask more questions...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This program nearly paid for itself on its purchase day alone however make sure you ask more questions when joining from a skilled employee. The employee I worked with made a point to bring up Black Friday price matching when I had to shop before the holidays. Knowing this was coming is why I signed up. Instead they ONLY price match Best Buy prices during that window. I got lucky today and two of my items finally dropped on their site likely due to manufacturer choices, however to begin with the prices weren't competitive and the fact that Black Friday Specials wouldn't be valid from other retailers was a shock vs how they solid it. Also there was no price match button on my recent purchases so I had to take the extra step of calling to get the money back. The in store sales rep also said it happens automatically when Best Buy discounts. From the chat I had today with the phone support. It does not. You have to be far more diligent to check on pricing during the match window. I am that kind of shopper but I could see some folks not being that in sync with checking back. All and all, with the recent price match money back, it was worth the membership this year. It will depend on how much Best Buy shopping I plan on next year if I decide to renew.

I made a return of a lousy expresso machine that I purchased on a "deal of the day" offer and since I don't live on USA I couldn't return it before the 15 days time. The cashier lady talked me into this to get some sort of compensation

After having a nightmare experience from the PitBoss Sportsman grill which was a housewarming gift from my uncle I thought I had no recourse. The Pit Boss Manufacturer said all issues must be addressed directly to them and that they did not take returns. The grill had only been used once and the 2nd use would have been on Thanksgiving day which is when it completely died. I was devastated because my husband had recently taken ill and the one thing I wanted to do for him was give him a Thanksgiving Day dinner for him to remember. After a lot of correspondence with the manufacturer I reached out to My Uncle who ultimately contacted his local Best Buy store in Savannah. He was instructed that I reach out to my local Best Buy in Snellville. At this time I was emotionally drained and had very little time between my husband’s treatments frankly I was bracing myself for another less than optimal outcome. As I found a moment to visit my local BestBuy I realized I didn’t even have the energy to explain all that I had been through with the manufacturer. But somehow the few word that I did say to Stephanie, the store manager was enough. She warmly and efficiently explained my options. She highly recommended that I consider a membership to prevent any hassles like I experienced to ever happen to me again. I knew she genuinely wanting to fix my problem. I had to leave that day due to time and said I would return in a couple days. Ultimately I returned and ended up purchasing a membership, exchanging and upgrading to the QLED 75 in Samsung. The TV was such a hit at home that I followed up with a 2nd purchase of the exact same TV for a 2nd room in my home. Both of which are protected under the membership. Thanks BestBuy and Store Manager Stephanie. I can’t express enough how much you have helped me.

For ease of mind

I opted to get it and I love the idea of being able to return an item if you decide against it after purchase. I purchased a 75" TV and after it was delivered I was struggling to set colors and set it up. I was stressing about the decision of the brand and that maybe a should have gotten a different one. I felt at ease knowing that I could exchange it since I purchased the membership. After all I decided to keep the TV I purchased but just having the option to return it was a relief!

The representatives that helped me find what I was looking for (replacement AirPod Pros) explained to me that I would be able to get price-matched for my purchase if the price dropped within a 60-day window. This was not only true but also a very easy process. In my case, I was refunded $50 dollars (when the price dropped for Memorial Day sales) which was more than the cost of my membership! This experience and the extended 60-day return window make it well worth it, if you ask me.
