    I originally didn’t listen to the sales agent when he tried to suggest this service plan and I left the store with a rather Large kitchen appliance order being delivered and installed all set up. After getting home and looking around on here I found that if I bought the membership I wouldn’t pay any of extra fees associated with delivery and install and also have tech plan for over a year…. I went back to the store and tweaked my order and walked away with over 300$ in savings on the old bill compared to the first, AND a 100$ gift card… Extra bonus- I was able to use the tech membership to pay for delivery and instal later that year when my garbage disposal died. I’ve told others now ‘don’t write off the tech membership, listen to the Best Buy team member and find out if it would be best for you, it was for me’

    Totally worth paying for. I've had issues with a PC in the past and just scheduling an appointment with the Geek Squad within the hour and getting quick and helpful feedback is amazing. The lady who helped me the first time with my PC said my power supply killed my PC. I then asked for the data still on my HDD, which would normally cost about 100$ for a data transfer, plus payment for a Geek Squad member to analyze what was wrong with the PC, but with this Total Tech Support, it was all free! Plus I was able to get my PC replaced for free too since it was a pre-built from Best Buy. They also provided me their Webroot Security app, which I put on my phone, PC, and laptop, and it works great with real-time protection, and isn't annoying about updates and scans like Avast or McAffee is. Definitely worth getting if you have a lot of technology, trouble with technology, or even have products that weren't purchased from Best Buy, and need fixing.

    I purchased this as an emergency, because after moving, I tried to set up the computer and somehow it had a virus, which it did not have before moving. I purchased the plan at the store and the repair was performed in store. They repaired the computer, but did not load drivers or set up the Home Screen, and did not explain to me that I now had Microsoft Edge and not the other stuff. That was a bit confusing. The printer would not print even though it would go to que. Turns out there were no drivers. PROS: I called Geek Squad, the wait on line was minimal (about 7 minutes), the techs were super helpful and knowledgeable. The return phone call was within an hour. The problem was corrected within 35 minutes. That technician was fantastic on a professional and personal level, wishing me and my family to stay safe and healthy. I am looking forward to utilizing them again, and trust that the service will be just as good.

    Total Tech Support can save money!

    Over the years we've paid for lots of computer repairs, often at $100 an hour, or similarly priced flat rate charges. We purchased our first Total Tech Support contract two years ago, and renewed it again this year. It proved a great buyin the first year -- we took in several computers with various ailments and Geek Squad was great in fixing them. We also purchased items from Best Buy (including an expensive Samsung FRAME Television unit, along with several other computer components). We received 10% discount because we subscribed to the Total Tech Support. We also had the team out to install the FRAME above our fireplace. They provided a very good orientation on the controls, and advice on how to get the most out of the unit. Overall, we've received excellent value for the money invested.

    My member number is: 5064347023. I am extremely happy with the Repair from the Geek Squad in Tallahassee. My Lenovo All-in-One crashed and would shut down out of the blue, and finally would not boot up at all. So they said it needed a new Solid State hard drive. At first when I got the computer back home it worked just fine. Then it started shutting down again. So I left it alone turned off for about four days. When I came back and it turned on I got a message on the screen saying I should restart the computer at the Power Menu. So, I did that to allow the computer to download upgrades. After I gave it a chance to download the upgrades, and updates, it has worked perfectly ever since. Thank you Geek Squad.

    I came into the store today 2/21/21 and had an appointment with Greg Moulios. I bought a new Lenovo laptop from Best Buy and just wanted to have my data transferred. Greg was held up a few minutes with a previous customer but right at 12:00 he came up and acknowledged me and said he would be right with me, which he was. I explained what I wanted and he was very attentive and asked just the right questions that I would have failed to ask. He filled me in on Total Tech Support and how helpful it would be in feeling more secure about my purchase of the laptop and future needs I might have. Greg was courteous, patient and very well informed. It was a very pleasurable experience overall!

    This is one of those additional purchases that you have to ask your-self if you have the time, aptitude or experience ton handle some of the problems that come up with personal computers. We have had Geek Squad coverage for over 7 years and it has truly helped when: 1. We had a hard drive failure after 5 years on our PC (past warranty). Simply took unit to a Best Buy store location for the repair and actually an update to a SSD. 2. Covers yearly diagnostics (review of the health of your PC). 3. Over the phone support. The assistance we have received has always been very friendly and supportive. Parents that have children in college or at home virtual sessions due to COVID-19 should strongly consider this option.

    I had called in the 800 number and had trouble receiving the guidance and assistance I was in need of. Today I went in the store and spoke with PJ I found him to be most knowledgeable and helpful. He guided me to Mike my Best Buy expert explained everything that is offered and services available. Allowing me the opportunity to secure the annual Geek Squad services which will meet my needs for now and the years to come. I wish this information had been available through the 800 number. I want to say many thanks to PJ for taking the time to explain and making sure I understood what was being offered.

    We've had a Geek Squad support policy for several years and when the opportunity was presented to get Total Tech support, I didn't hesitate. Any time I have a question or a problem, tech support is a chat or a call away. On several occasions, due to high call volume they had to finish my job over night and when I got up in the morning the problem was solved and a complete description of work done was provided and that is why Total Tech support is my security blanket every time I turn on my desktop or my laptop--anywhere! I recommend Total Tech support to everyone. I remain a completely satisfied customer.

    This Best Buy Total Tech support package pays for itself very quickly! I paid right around $200 for this package and in less than 1 month I have saved over $200 on separate device installs. For example, a camera security system usually consists of 4 separate devices, which Would costs around $400 dollars to install professionally by some other company. Instead, I only paid BB $50 + Total Tech Support cost to come on out and install as a package. It’s worth every penny! I plan to install many other smart devices to my smart home, as my Total Tech Package is valid for one full year.

    Purchased and had delivered a new flat screen for living room and moved existing flat screen in living room downstairs to replace older model. Also switched stand in living room with stand in basement. Tech support did an excellent job in moving and hooking up all equipment. They also ran thru all start up applications and ensured all pieces of equipment in working order. All extension cords and cables were banded together. Also discovered I needed a new 3D DVD player which they happened to have on their delivery vehicle!!! Very pleased with their work and time spent showing how to operate remote controls. Professionally done.

    I’m so happy and relieved I purchased Total Tech Support. It was several months ago that I made this purchase. My printer decided to stop scanning and my laptop decided it didn’t recognize the printer any longer. What to do, what to do…. I finally dropped by the Geek Squad counter at my Best Buy store, and to my surprise, my expectations were blown. Pleasant and professional service, found my account on the first try, scheduled my appointment for the next day, and fixed my problem. Thank you For doing what you said you would and thank you for making it easy.

    The Geek Squad... Now that i've stopped popping covers (77), it's nice to know 9 times out of 10 that the 'Geeks' got me covered. I had five computers all with some sort of hangup mode and one computer I had replaced the Motherboard (Mobo) doubled the RAM, replaced the CPU, added more Drives and changed the cooling hardware and power supply. Mother Micro decided my computer was no longer worthy of running their software so they locked me out. Two weeks later we finally got WINDOWS running again and all's well, Thanks to the Geeks. Good JOB!

    I was relived with I found out that Best Buy offered support for all my devices at gone whether they were purchased with them or not! I loved saving money in my Geek Sqaud Protection plans! The services I used for my appliances, home theater, & computer purchases were either free or 50-75% discounted! This plan is full of saving and offers amazing support in home via chat, in person (for a small fee of $50), or in store with 30 minute 1-on-1 session with the geek Sqaud agents inside the store. Thank you Best Buy for helping with any and all my tech questions all while helping relive my stress with technology.

    We have had BB come out and program our Alexa. The service tech took the time to explain everything and also programmed our phones. A few years later we received a Ring doorbell as a present. We tried programming it but halfway thru decided to enlist BB to finish the programming. We enlisted the same BB tech to come out and finish the installation. It took about a hour and a half. This included replacing the existing doorbell with the ring unit. We are very happy with the doorbell and the service from BB. We are snowbirds and now can see and hear anyone that comes to our door when we are miles away.

    BestBuy has a professional Team for Installation and they did a great job with all my Installations. There Total Tech Support protection plan is a gem because they really take care of their customers. I would recommend this to everyone. I would never think anyone other than Best Buy specially for appliance purchases. Very good service and trouble free installation. Thank you Best Buy we love you. We like your guys dressed up professionally and courteous with their customer centric attitude. I am a big fan of Best Buy total tech support and plan to keep it every year.

    Great value when you need support & buy a lot

    We are not techies and it is good to know the Geek Squad is on our side to help. We have had this for several years and upgraded last year. We brought one of our desktop computers in as it just stopped working. The Geek Squad were able to recover almost everything and had the computer back to us quicker than expected. We bought 3 appliances this year and saved so much on delivery, set-up and other things that add to the cost of buying appliances. The best though was the customer service of the Geek Squad and delivery people. We will be renewing the subscription!

    I usually don't write reviews but this is my way to truly say thank you. My son's computer was affected by a power surge from a lightning storm. It was extra stressful because his computer and school are so linked. Christian Aquinas was amazing!! He worked with me over 2 days navigating part solutions and keeping me updated. He understood my urgency and I was very impressed with how quickly our computer was fixed. Thank you for giving us back a computer that is so updated and is running like a dream. Christian was THE BEST!!
