If you are in your 70's like me, and don't have the slightest on what to do on your computer, I highly recommend buying the Geek Squad warranty. Why? because you don't have to go to the Best Buy with issues or questions. Just dial the Geek Squad and ask for Remote Help. They will take over your computer and take care of whatever issues or questions you might have. And you can call then 24/7 as many times as you need. without leaving your home. Also get the Web Root virus protection. The Geeks will help downloaded for you and you will have a peace of mind that your computer will be virus free

We believe this membership it worth the money, over the 3 years we have had it we usually save enough to make up for the membership price. I usually dont buy warranties for tvs or appliances but i do for ear buds or headphones and woth 4 of us in the house we typically use the replacement plan once a year if not 2 or 3 times.

I only give this 4 stars because I never used the service, although I paid $200 for the protection. But it does last a year which was a nice safety net for my products. If you’re clumsy or damage things easily, I think this would be a worthy purchase. But I did not have use for it.

I’ve been using Best Buy Total Membership, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my tech purchases. The benefits are genuinely worth it. I’ve always had great service at Best Buy . I’ve had a bad experience with them but my washer I got from there. And I have still not got some one to come out and bring me a new washer or to fix the one I got. It’s been sence January 30 and still don’t have anyone to call me back.

Totally worth getting the geek squad. I had two appointments on Jan. 6, 2006 (10:40 and 11:20). I cannot remember where I wrote the kids name down that helped me, I wanted to give him a good review. He was so patient and taught me more than I have learned in 20 years. He spent the time to figure out what was going on with my computer.

As a Senior citizen, this membership is a big help! Since retiring, technology has progressed very rapidly and I appreciate being able to pick the brains of the “Geeks,” Add to that, the member prices and unlimited Geek Squad support are reassuring!

After a few years of using the Insignia Fire TV, I feel like this is a nice upgrade. I don't really like the platform that was built with the Fire TV. This Roku TV is easier to use and the sound quality is way better than the Fire TV. Another thing I don't like about Fire TV is the limited storage that Amazon have on the TV. They only include 4GB and if you used up the available space then you will have to use an external storage device or delete some apps to make room for new apps.

I love my Best Buy Total Membership. The reason is I saved a lot everytime I go to fix my laptop. Plus I can bring any laptop or electronic unlimited without worrying to pay upfront. Plus Geek Squad is very friendly and help you in any issue or concerns. Plus recommends which better products what you looking for. For your needs. I recommend 100%.

Best decision you could make if you are a PC gamer! Since I got the membership I have already made my money’s worth. I’ve upgrade my SSD on my Lenovo legion, upgraded my graphics card and RAM on my gaming desktop etc. This thing has paid for itself twice over already. Couldn’t be more pleased

It is expensive and it renews yearly. If you cancel it, you also cancel ANY protections that you got while you were a member. Even if it was a 2-year protection, since it was paid for via the membership (for "Free") cancelling the membership cancels these protections as well. If you shop at Best Buy frequently enough and take advantage of the protections, then I'd say it's worth it. Otherwise, I would pass on it.

this product gives me peace of mind, knowing that my repair costs for my devices will be capped. It is reasonable to expect out of pocket repair expenses to greatly exceed the $179 premium which helps in budgeting and managing costs, especially with the high costs we are all experiencing.

We needed to have our home desktop computer scanned for viruses. The associate told us about the membership. We were very happy with our service on our computer. The associates that we worked with were very pleasant and helpful for us old folks.

I never always buy at Best Buy Port Arthur, so that I can get the Geek Squad help if I need it. I forgot to do this review at the time, but now that I just bought a new (expensive) laptop, I want to share my experience about why buying Total Tech is the smartest move you will ever make. Update to a recent purchase and why I highly recommend Total Tech: My new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, rates an A+, but it would not have without the Geek Squad, which was amazing! I cannot praise them enough for getting me through a difficult setup. Microsoft is being so intrusive now days that the average person is at their mercy to setup a device in a way that is acceptable and which successfully minimizes Microsoft's outrageously aggressive promotion of their products. Truly, as far as I am concerned, my Total Tech cost paid for itself with this one purchase because I more than likely would have returned this $2,000 laptop (hey, don't judge, it was the only model with the ports I needed) if it had not been for the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and patience of Jacob (Geek Squad Tech), Emily (Geek Squad Manager), and Michael (the employee who set me up with Jacob). They were all beyond amazing. I am a granny who has had a horrible few years (lost my husband after a horrendous 5 year struggle with aggressive dementia), and I struggle to cope with any stress these days. The Geek Squad employees at Port Arthur, Texas, just did everything they could to minimize my stress. I just cannot tell you how much I appreciated them. So, yes, the Lenovo Legion gets 5 stars, but it was because the Geek Squad gets 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Port Arthur Geek Squad and Best Buy Port Arthur, and, now that they did their magic to configure and customize my laptop, I am thrilled with it as well. Truly, getting Total Tech (for several years now, even while struggling to stay in my home while my husband was ill) was one of the best decisions I EVER made! I don't like that. They charge much on the extended warranty prices and don't offer you extended Geek Squad much anymore. I also had to wait so long for Geek Squad appointments. They are so far backlogged and don't have enough help. I think online consumers and shoppers are killing their store. Business online is still cool, but a lot of the stores and departments are shutting down. Hopefully, they're not on their way out

I like the membership I have with Best Buy because I get to know all the deals before they happen and it’s really great for me now that it’s Christmas time because now I can find things more easily. I also love the convenience of the store, not being far from my home and they’re a great computer personnel. They help me with computer questions and things so that nature, and when it comes to me buying a computer they were very helpful and the computer I bought recently fit me like a glove.

Signed up for the My Best Buy Total membership thinking I’d maybe use it once or twice, turns out, I use it constantly. The free shipping, extended warranties, and tech support alone make it worth it. I’ve already saved more than the membership cost just on repairs and discounts. The protection plan coverage is great peace of mind for big purchases like TVs, laptops, and controllers (especially in a gaming house like mine). Plus, being able to get priority service and same-day delivery on some items is a huge bonus. If you shop at Best Buy even a few times a year, this membership basically pays for itself. Zero regrets.
