Classic movie on blu ray for cheap price, can't go wrong!

A classic movie, wanted to add to to my collection

I don’t usually buy comedies on 4K because I don’t think it’s necessary for the comedy genre to have in 4K. But as with all things, there’s always an exception to (my) rule. This is a comedy but it’s also an action film, and thus the 4K restoration is justified, as is the soundtrack. The Axel-F theme sounds excellent in 7.1 Hopefully number two will soon follow, Shakedown would also sound great. New features and commentaries are on both the 4K and BluRay disc, Previously released special features are exclusive to the Blu-ray

Going down memory lane when I spotted this on a rack. Pretty dated, but still made me laugh. Definitely recommend.

This is classic Eddie Murphy, who does not have sticked in their heads the melody of this 80s movie!

It was a lot of fun to re-watch this classic 1980s film starring Eddie Murphy. The 4K version has a lot of extra features that I enjoyed including deleted scenes and an interview with the director. In 4K, this movie is visually stunning as it showcases some of Beverly Hills in the early 80s. Fabulous landscapes. Truly, a very fun & enjoyable movie to watch. I sincerely hope they put out a 4K version of the sequel "Beverly Hills Cop II".

What's that wisecracking young black guy (Eddie Murphy) in that beat-up Chevy Nova doing in lily-white Beverly Hills? He's Axel Foley, a Detroit detective who's been sent on involuntary vacation because he refuses to drop his intention of avenging his friend's murder. Warned by Beverly Hills police chief Ronny Cox to stay out of trouble, Foley nonetheless dogs the trail of above-the-law Steven Berkoff, the British crime czar who was responsible for the murder of Foley's friend.

Classic comedy featuring Eddie Murphy's breakout role as Axel Foley, a Detroit police detective who travels to LA to investigate a murder. Murphy plays a real life Bugs Bunny as he lovingly and confidently pesters everyone until they see he's more than just a motormouth con man. Picture quality has never been better The soundtrack is iconic and the AXL F score is excellent. A great movie.

Eddie Murphy at his best! A whole new use for bananas.

A personal favorite of mine. A nostalgia inducing hit movie that brings the goods and makes you feel reminiscent about how they use to make movies back in the day. A film that I can look upon with affection and good memories. Oh how times have changed. I feel this is the best of the three. Get it folks. The 4K version is a worthy upgrade.

As a fan of the franchise, my expectations were high. This digitally remastered Blu-Ray did not disappoint. With a heightened sense of clarity made possible by the Blu-Ray format, I was able to appreciate details I never noticed before. The sound was equally emersive and impressive. If your a fan of this franchise you owe it to yourself to experience it in this format. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Really like this movie. The first of a series is always the Best. Eddie (Axel Foley) Murphy plays a great off the wall cop. I love the looks on the faces of the two Beverly Hills detectives, who are assigned to watch his Detroit antics. Looking forward to watching it again in 4K.
