    In his first starring role, Eddie Murphy does a great job as a wise-cracking cop that is trying to solve his best friend's murder. Classic comedy that started off other roles for a funny black cop, and a saga that is threatening to come back.

    I liked the first 'Beverly Hills Cop,' and personally thought it was the only really good film of the series. Probably Eddie Murphy's best movie. Widescreen.
