I am so happy with these speakers. I also got a Pioneer SX-N30 reciever to push them. Couldn't be happier!

Not bad sound for a pair around $300. Wish they were available in Oak finish instead of Black, though.

Have no reservations, these ARE the exceptional bass response speakers you are looking for. And they are AFFORDABLE! They THUMP and have excellent overall performance. Hook them up to a quality tuner/amp with plenty of punch, and you won't be disappointed. Shake the plates out of the cupboards! :)

Pleasently surprised at how good these sound for the money,using a onkyo 2500mke from like 1980 to power them,one speaker arrived slightly damaged but its not bad enough to warrant a return,highly recommend these to anyone who likes listening to music loud,bass sounds good to me as i like it more punchy then boomy,all around a great speaker

Looking for speakers for a 2 channel system. I wanted something which would play my old Jazz hard bop music and venture through classic rock into some modern music. I figured these would be like my old CV D-9's. Power, fun, slightly bass heavy rock and roll speaker. These have very clean and smooth detail. Nothing cheap or over pushed. I noticed the spec on the boxes were better than the web site advertsed. 28Hz- 20,000 KHz. Not sure if this is a generation upgrade or not, but they are a smooth and fast speaker. I would never think these were 15 in woofers as they have zero muddyness. They are hooked up to a Denon receiver, 75 watt, and they sound pretty sweet. I'm guessing as they break in the bass will improve some, but it was fine out of the box. Modern works by Fiona Apple and Beth Orton sound really nice.

Ordered 5/27/17 today is 6/22/17. This has to be the best speaker in the world because I still haven't received it yet!

The skinny is these are great speakers for the cost. Overall sound is great. If you're looking for bass... say no more. You have arrived. Treble and Mid... yup. It's ALL great. They are quite large so keep that in mind, but they are kicking 15's so what do you expect. Massive, impressive, booming sound these floor speakers does the trick.

I received these speakers a few months ago and they were a breeze to setup except that the stripped audio cable I was using kept getting cut by the ports on the rear of the box. The sounds is loud and the bass is very very deep, mid range is good also but almost drowned out by the powerful bass. The materials that makeup the speaker shell is nice and the speakers themselves appear to be made of good quality materials. At only $100 this speaker is a steal for the way they perform, I am ordering a second speaker very very soon.

these speakers are just what i needed to bring my 5.1 surround sound system full circle old school design with alot of power with crystal clear sound this is a must get***** 5stars go buy these speaker worth every penny

GREAT SPEAKERS CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE EITHER IF YOU HAVE A STRONG RECEIVER LIKE I DO THESE BOYS KICK OUT SOME VERY GOOD BASS AND MIDS.LOWS,HIGHS WITH NO PROBLEM

These speakers have everthing that i would want. The bass really hits and mids and highs are great.

These very large and very loud speakers are a definite " excellent buy " and are for the practical listener who doesn't believe in spending a ton for a good sounding system . These speakers will need a minimum of 100 watts per channel for full clarity and make sure you have room for them ! When hooked into a quality receiver/tuner with a similar Freq. Range and impedance they are a very fine sounding set of speakers especially when a good CD player is fed thru' the receiver. I definitely give a thumbs all in every way for these monsters !

I was watching the Matrix last night. The sceen when the elevator explodes with the fire coming out, is so moving I had to say WOW! For this low price you get a 15" woofer, midrange, and tweeter. You can pay double and wish you had these speakers.

I bought these speakers to replace a set of Omega's that I have had since 1986. They had 15" woofers and would shake the whole house. I bought these because they too have 15" woofers. These barely produce any bass. It is really disappointing. I now am looking for a subwoofer to recreate the same sound.
