The sixth season of Big Bang has 1 married couple (little Howard and little Bernadette), Penny is back with Leonard (the shorter guy with glasses), and tall, thin Sheldon is s-l-o-w-l-y getting into a relationship with fellow supergeek, Amy. Why, they sit on the bed together and he gives her a stiff hug this year! Raj's sister, Priya, is gone. (Who knows? she may be back next season). Stuart, the cute little Comic Book Store owner gets a little more air time this season, he's always good for some laughable retorts. Raj is seeking and seeking a girlfriend; he finally meets a quirky girl toward the end of the season (heavy emphasis on quirk- she makes Amy seem normal), but will he get her into a continuing relationship? we don't know, stay tuned for Season 7. Even though there are the same three couples all season, it doesn't get stale because the writers always throw new wrenches into the works: we meet the university's HR (personnel) director (the 1st black chartacer) and the boys all get into HR trouble, we catch a glimpse of Howard's mother ( whoa! ), and Sheldon gets a beautiful new Assistant. Will she break up any of the couples? Dunno yet, stay tuned for Season 7! This is one of the best TV series ever! always funny lines and little scenarios along with each show's plot line.

This is the best tv show everyone should watch this show. Love having the season on blu ray!

Season 5 was good and this set has lots of episodes . Add this to your collection .

The characters and cast seem to really like each other and continue to develop

Another great season from The Big Bang Theory! I can honestly say this is one of the funniest shows on TV! It is nothing short of brilliant, and each season not only delivers, but gets better and better - if that is possible! Even the peripheral characters are amazing - Laurie Metcalf gives an absolutely hysterical performance as Sheldon's Bible-thumping mother, whereas Christine Baranski is superb as the frigid mother of Leonard. And who can forget Mrs. Walowitz - who can be heard constantly yelling uncouth remarks at poor Howard, while we get to see Raj visit with his parents who are most concerned about him finding a nice Indian Girl. There is nothing better and I can always count on this show to make me laugh non-stop!

The Big Bang Theory hits the mark again with season 6. If you're reading this, you're probably already a fan, so no need to tell you how funny it is, or who the characters are. Blu Ray quality is superb. The bright colors are vivid and the images are sharp. Sound is pretty much confined to the front speakers where the dialog takes place. Since I picked this one up on sale for under 20 dollars and will get many hours watching and later rewatching the episodes, it's 20 dollars very well spent. Some may not think any seasons are worth full retail, but get them on sale and it's a whole different story. Fabulous viewing for rainy and snowy days!

BBB is far and away the funniest show on TV imo. The show has gotten better every season. The characters have some interesting storylines, and the cast seems to be firing on all cylinders. Howard is back from the space station and has trouble adjusting to "civilian" life (and a great episode where Sheldon finds a letter his estranged father had written him); Raj find a girlfriend who's more socially awkward than he is; and the relationships between Penny-Leonard and Amy-Sheldon grow. Even a guest appearance by Stephen Hawking! (Side note: season 7 is somewhat disappointing; part of what makes me have more appreciation for season 6).

I have been a fan of the show since the beginning and have all of the seasons. I saw this on sale as part of Best Buy's Black Friday sale and couldn't pass it up. $17 for the DVD/Blu-Ray/UltraViolet combo is way too good to pass up. Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco are the heart of the show. The additions of Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik over the last couple of seasons has only improved on the show. Honestly, I bought this season because I already had the first five and I love the show. There are only a few shows that I have been able to sit down and watch repeatedly and this happens to be one of them.

So here we are at season six. I wasn't sure this series would make it this far but now it looks like it may end up longer & even wackyer than Scrubs! Some may argue that this was not their best season & while some of my favorite episodes are in previous seasons, season six is still overall continuing their increase in quality. While it is not on sale as I write this review, I purchased it at a VERY fair price. Most may wish to wait for the sale prices thus, I would reccomend Best Buy since they often have sales on their TV shows. Enjoy everyone!

It's worth noting that there is a combo pack version of this particular season that includes both blu-ray and DVD copies as well as an ultraviolet code that supposedly expired, but still works regardless. It's rather hard to find, and you'll likely only find it on an online retailer. Best Buy, to my knowledge, does not carry it online or in store. If you don't care about the DVD or Digital HD copies, the non-combo pack blu-ray sets are generally a steal price wise.

This is currently my favorite comedy on tv, and instead of getting less funny over the years like most comedies, this one just keeps getting stronger. This blu-ray release is nice because you get blu-ray discs, and dvds. There's also an ultraviolet digital copy which I find pretty useless. But I'm sure some people like it. Given that when I bought this, it was only $5 than the DVD version, it was well worth the extra money to get it in HD and have the option to watch it on dvd as well.

I love this show. I started getting into it while the reruns came on TBS. I bought all the previous seasons and got caught up. This season has been the funniest to date. This version has the Blu-Ray version (for me), the DVD version (for everyone else) and it has an ultraviolet version, which is awesome. It allows me to watch it wherever I am, no matter what device. Every episode is funny, no episode is a let down. It is one of the few shows I watch a week.

What really needs saying here? It's the sixth season of a brilliantly hilarious show. You're either a fan already, which means yes of course you should buy this set! ("Of course," you say, "already got it.") Or you aren't, which means you should start with the first season and work up to this one. Although it's easy enough to catch onto what's going on. But it's just that much more enjoyable when you've started from early-on.

The Big Bang Theory is easily the best sitcom on TV currently. It has a great cast, very unique characters, and is well written. I keep waiting for the series to "jump the shark" but it hasn't happened yet. You are guaranteed to laugh many times during each episode, and the jokes never get old. I discuss the new episodes each week with co-workers, and we all laugh again at the same jokes being re-told. Worthy purchase!

Big Bang Theory keeps getting better each year with this season being no exception. Favorite episodes: 1) Sheldon gets called in to meet the university's employee relations director and puts his foot in his mouth several times; 2) He finds out what happened to his childhood TV idol (Bob Newhart guest stars in this episode & side note won an award for his performance as a guest star).

Went to Best Buy to purchase a new TV for my son who is going away to California for his Masters' Degree. Investigated this TV before going to store. When we got there, the demo model was much better than anticipated (LED in lieu of LCD) and it was on sale for $100 off! Best buy comes through with flying colors again! We will be back!

Love this show. Lots of fun just to watch episode after episode with no commercial breaks and bypassing the opening credits and skipping the end credits. Being able to watch them in order and following the plot line throughout the season is a bonus. The Paley fest extra is not something I will watch again but some people might like seeing some of the actors as themselves.

When this show came along, it was automatically going to be a favorite for me because I grew up in the 70s, playing all the games they play and using the same nerdy terms. In the first few seasons of the show, they had difficulty fitting in because of their nerdy ways. Penny was a great bridge for them to the cool part of the world because she wasn't one of them, but she took them under her wing. Their fish out of water struggles was charming and funny. As season 6 comes around, they are fitting in and are no longer struggling as much because they are in relationships. Although, the jokes have changed to their relationships, rather than the fact that they can't have any, the new story lines are still funny and entertaining.

My grandson has loved this series for years. He is now older and has enjoyed re-watching some episodes and really enjoyed seeing some he had missed in the past. He has spent many enjoyable hours watching this 3-DVD bundle. He is laughing and having a great time! So good to see him interested in something else besides video games!

I love The Big Bang Theory and I own every season. I do not own any on Blu-ray however the special features on dvd don't disappoint! The show is funny with interesting plots, and I'll even find myself learning something about science from time to time. This is one of my favorite shows and I can't wait to see all that season 7 has to offer.
