This fan met was one that was wide enough to fit our window opening. I had to search online for the user manual to find the width dimensions - it would have been nice if the description included a few more details like that. The fan works just fine and we use it to cool off our bedroom before we turn in for the night. Overall we're happy. I gave some feedback already on the packaging but will mention it here. I was amazed the fan worked when I saw the condition of the box when it arrived. It had been shipped in the factory box (like the box you'd buy off the shelf) with no additional protection. The box was punctured in a couple places. Somehow the fan survived

The top of the fan curves down slightly near the sides leaving a 1/16th of an inch gap between the window and fan. The side extensions are even lower leaving a extra 1/2 inch gap. To fill in the airspace, I needed to install foam insulation. Aside from that it is a very good product. Attractive, powerful, relativity quiet and easy to clean. If it weren't for the design of the top, I would have given it 5 stars.

I read numerous reviews for window fans and was looking for a quiet fan that could also exhaust air. This Bionaire model fits the bill perfectly. The thermostat and remote controls are bonuses. It works well and has three speeds in each direction. My only quibble, being a city dweller, is that there is no easy way to clean it. It would have been nice to have removable fan louvers.

Needed a new window fan and this seemed to fit the bill. The specialization (speed, direction, etc.) is good and the ability to set a thermostat helps as well. The remote isn't hugely necessary but is nice when you need it.

This is by far the best in window fan you can buy. This think has a temperature sensor and 3 speed select. Also has the quiets fan motors on the 3 models I have used in the past, and this does not hinder the air flow as it is the best of any I have owned.

The fan works well in pushing hot air out side and bringing cool air inside in a fairly good sized area, they work so well that I purchased 2 of them for 2 separate rooms in my house.

This is the most powerful small twin window fan I ever owned. I have a large master bedroom suite and I can feel the air clear across the room into the bath room. I like this fan so much I went out and bought a second one for our cottage.

This fan is perfect for cooling rooms, even our west-facing bedroom. I turn it on early evening and an 86 degree room cools to 70 degrees within a couple of hours.

The window fan runs quietly. Needs extra extenders for wider windows. Extra extenders, while inexpensive, have not been available from the company for weeks now.

Best window fan I ever purchased, every home should have one.

Listen while everyone was out spend hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars on a AC this little baby kept me cool at night and with moneys fan my pocket. Now its possible because I live on the third floor of a brownstone and the air flow is pretty decent explains how a 95 degree room can be as low as 70 degrees in less than 2 hours, I love this fan and I refuse to share my air!!! Just kidding my dog loves it too :)

I love this product. It's good for small rooms, keeps your room cool.

We use this fan in a bedroom which we need to bring in cooler air at night since we do not have central air. It provides this with minimal noise.

My building can't handle A/C because of old wiring, and this is the perfect solution. Also, it take smoke and other pollutants out of the work area and keeps the air cool and fresh!

This ac will pull in the temperature that's outside, or can vent the temperature thats in your home to cool it down. By day, the temperature is around 88 degrees outside. I have no AC in my house so I vent out, and it cools my room down by at least 10 degrees. At night the temperature is around 60 degrees outside. I freeze when I have the fan on full blast at night. It totally feel's like I've got the AC on!

Fan is attractively designed. Easy to install in window. Fans can be reversed to blow air out of room as well as into room. Fan will turn on and off with temperature setting. Remote control operates fan as well.

With the summer heat and no air conditioning in our home, we needed something to cool and to remove the hot air from the home. This was a great buy at a great price. It has helped us so much, even in the humid days.

I bought this to replace a unit I had for about ten years that finally went out on me. This one works great even comes with a remote so I can operate it from the comfort of my couch. Great product at a great price.
