A interesting story with odd and entertaining characters. Great control and game play but the lack of auto save is a drag.

One of the greatest stories ever told in a game. It asks a player to pay attention to the environment and the way the city is structured. The game play is solid and very fun. The game does not offer multiplayer but its story makes up for it. You will want to play it twice since the ending begs for a replay.

I really liked this chapter of the Bioshock series. It is a unique take on the universe in which these stories take place and I had a good time playing it. It does leave the player wanting more in the sense that the story can continue on -- I can't wait to see if there is a Bioshock 4!

I am a big fan of both BioShock 1 and 2 and Infinite is a remarkable new entry into the series. The graphics are incredibly clear and the environment is so very different from the original duet, set in a lofty Quantum Mechanics driven city in the skies against the original Libertarian underwater refuge. The enemies as well as the weapons are original and distinctive in many regards, from the mechanical Patriot robot warriors and "Handymen" to the variety of magical tonic driven powers reminiscent, while not mere repetition, of the original games. One of the most defining features of this game is that it is not simply combat driven as most games are today; the story and the atmosphere equally play into the motivations for playing it. The society of Columbia is a brilliant work of alternative historical fiction, grounded as it is in real social issues of turn of the century America. Even while the country was at the height of humanist optimism, it was also built on the shoulders of the oppressed masses of immigrants and descendants of the slaves. The stark rhetoric of the prophetic quasi-Christian movement at the heart of the society is thus set in savage contrast with the injustices and rampant racism against the wage-slaves that propel the industrialized city. The result is that you will enjoy the sections where there is no combat just as much as the fight scenes. At times it feels like going to some sort of warped Disney exhibit and is really chilling in its brilliant exposure of the racist tendencies in historic American culture. I won't say much about the actual story-line as I don't want to ruin it to new players, but it is a gripping and engaging story line that pulls you right through to the end. My one complaint is that the game severely limits how much you can save. The checkpoints sometimes are close together, but at other times it is shocking how long you have to go before another savepoint. This can get quite annoying at moments and my wife in particular complained about this feature, particularly considering that this was a big change from the original games. At least it is not an issue of having to reload the checkpoint when you die, instead you are resurrected and a monetary fine is taken for the respawn, but it is annoying that sometimes you have to play for a long time before it will save which is annoying at times. But in the larger scheme this is a small caveat to an otherwise incredible journey that will entertain and excite a wide variety of gamers.

Bioshock: Infinite offers an interesting and wonderful landscapes. You will want to explore this world and hear what characters have to say. While the is solid overall in most every department.... I felt like the game didn't have me 'hooked' to keep playing however. The gunplay scenarios got a bit stale after a while. This is a minor thing however as you should still give this game a go!

Get ready for hours of fun. Get ready to blast away with hours of shooting

Its a game, that you will enjoy. A plot device to keep you moving forward. Little touchs here and there to keep anyone who wishes to learn more satisfied. I really can't recommended the game more to be honest there's very few flaws to speak of.

Loved the story but was able to play through pretty quickly.

It lacked the creepy factor of the original, it was nice that it had a familiar feel, but this was also bad because it was so similar to the original that renaming salts/plasmids etc made it feel like a lazy copy where someone copied someone else's digital homework. The air travel by rail loses its "nifty factor" after 30 mins of game play. There's really no point to it as even when you are in combat mode amidst of the game play is duck cover and shoot. The environment never forces you to utilize the rails which is disappointing after you kill everyone on the field then ride the rails just to survey the dead. I played it through on the hardest setting and found myself killing everything, having more salts and weapon choices than I required, and I consider myself an "average" gamer. I have no issues with sequels, but this was a lot like the same feeling I had after buying Fallout Vegas, I wanted sugar and I was given Nutrasweet instead.

For someone who does not like FPS I enjoyed this game

Just a very well done game with creative world, storyline and accessories. Very similar to earlier Bioshock games but also very different.

One of the best gaming story lines ever in my opinion. Infinite is every bit as good as the original Bioshock. If you loved that game this one is an absolute no-brainer.

I bought the game for my daughter and she loves it. She is pretty picky about what games she likes. I believe it got really good reviews from the gaming reviews as well

The game was very good but in comparison to the Bioshock games that came before this one the game play, story, and length of the game just do not measure up. Suffers from what many of the more recent games seem to in that there are just to many cut scenes.

I'm was a big fan of Bioshock and Bioshock 2. This game does not disappoint, and like always there are many twists and turns to follow in the storyline.
