Dude, this is there best album yet A Nightmare to Remember Is NOW the heaviest Dream Theater song A Rite of Passage is such a cool song with the ending keyboard solo has of to Jordan on that! Wither will some day become a ballet solo song of Dream Theater and be #! The Shattered Fortress is so cool because it Brings back the octavarium tracks, Wither is sad but rocks cause its a tribute to Mikes dad, and The Count Of Tuscany is the best with the intro guitar solos hands down John P. is the best guitar player out there!! So if you dont own this album go buy it TODAY at Best Buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TEN stars out of five. Masters of the craft, at the top of their game. Intelligence and power, perfectly blended. The best metal composers on the planet, right now. No one even comes close...still reeling from the excellence of disc 1, disc 2 starts with Stargazer! What a suprise! One of my favorite Rainbow songs, covered very well. To Tame a Land, one of my faves by Iron Maiden, also covered very well, later on disc 2. I can't wait for their next show. Excellent job, men. Excellent job.

Dream Theater did very well on this album. It is a perfect mix of heavy elements reminiscent of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Train of Thought and softer, more melodic elements similar to Images and Words. The first track is VERY dark and quite possibly the darkest sounding song they've ever created. It sounds awesome. This album will definitely take you on an audio journey from start to finish. Another great album from a phenomenal band. A great cd to add to any collection.

I found this album to be indicative of Dream Theater at their best; Intense progressive metal offerings with a nice balance of harmony, speed, and synergy. Lyrics also enhance the meanings behind each well compiled piece. All in all, yet, another great DT recording.

This album rocks, It is the one the only DREAMTHEATER. I hear influences from everybody, but they do it a step better. I have to crank it every time I play rite of passage and the first track. This is only band I would compare to RUSH.
